At last, Dragon Ball Daima has realized its full potential by resurrecting Goku’s most powerful and iconic base Super Saiyan form, Super Saiyan 3, prior to its climactic finale. The storyline of Dragon Ball Daima unfolds in the gap between the Majin Buu sagas and the Battle of Gods arc that initiates Dragon Ball Super. This timeframe has constrained Goku and Vegeta’s abilities, keeping them from accessing their god forms or future powers. However, this restriction also opens up an exciting chance for the new series to emphasize the immense power of base Super Saiyan transformations.
In the latest installment of Dragon Ball Daima, both Goku and Vegeta are given restrictive abilities, turning them into children due to a fresh wish on the Dragon Balls. Moreover, their power was capped within the Demon Realm for a duration, making each instance of Super Saiyan stand out significantly, reminiscent of its impact in previous seasons. Now, Goku is preparing to bring about an end to this conflict by transforming into Super Saiyan 3, facing off against Gomah.

Super Saiyan 3 Goku Debuts in Dragon Ball Daima
Episode 17 of “Dragon Ball Daima” reaches its thrilling culmination, marking the final stretch of this exciting new anime series this month. Our heroes, Goku and his companions, find themselves in the First Demon World, engaged in a fierce battle against Supreme Demon King Gomah’s legion. Not long after, Gomah unveils his latest transformation, acquired by obtaining the Tertian Oculus, which grants him a massive form wielding immense power. The newest episode concludes with our heroes barely managing to keep up with this new formidable adversary.
However, while Gomah was constraining Goku with his magic, Goku understood he could no longer suppress his power any longer and fully manifested his Super Saiyan 3 form. Since Vegeta had previously demonstrated this form in the anime, its distinctive appearance has somewhat lost its novelty. Nevertheless, much like how Vegeta employed it to narrow the power gap against the Tamagami, Goku’s use of the form offers a fresh possibility to potentially advance further before the conclusion.
When Does Dragon Ball Daima End?
The highly-anticipated finale of Dragon Ball Daima will officially air on February 28th, as confirmed by the anime itself after it passed through its grand climax. Previously, Hulu had inadvertently leaked this information, but now it’s official! Goku’s powerful return to his Super Saiyan 3 form is a spectacle not to be missed, yet it seems there could be more to come. Even with this mighty form making a reappearance, Goku may not be able to vanquish Gomah alone.
Currently in the Dragon Ball series timeline, Goku reaches his peak strength as Super Saiyan 3. However, with Vegeta also mastering this transformed state and the possibility of fusion still in play before the story concludes (although it appears Goku may have misplaced his Medi Bugs), there seems to be a significant barrier yet to surpass before the anime reaches its conclusion. With only a handful of episodes remaining, we won’t have long to find out what this final breakthrough might entail.
