In addition to the new anime, there are numerous video games like Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, standing alongside heavyweights such as Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, Dragon Ball FighterZ, and Dragon Ball Sparking Zero, each offering unique narratives in the Akira Toriyama universe. Most recently, a new DLC story has been added to Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, which introduces a fresh transformation for Jiren from Universe 11 – one that could potentially make him stronger than even the gods of destruction themselves.

Similar to Super Dragon Ball Heroes, the plot revolves around a team of alternate reality Z-Fighters called the Time Patrol. This team includes characters such as Goku, Vegeta, Future Trunks, and others, but they are significantly different from Universe 7’s group. For instance, the Time Patrol’s Goku and Vegeta transform into Super Saiyan 4s instead of the canonical Super Saiyan Blue, and the future Trunks can access Super Saiyan God. As for Jiren, he has been given a new transformation in the form of Ultra Supervillain.

Jiren’s Dragon Ball Daima Connection
It’s improbable that Jiren will personally show up in “Dragon Ball Daima,” but there’s a significant link between “Xenoverse” and the upcoming anime series. The fighter from Universe 11 obtains this new transformation from Fuu, a wicked scientist who poses a major threat to the Time Patrol in both the game and “Super Dragon Ball Heroes.” Fuu’s background is linked to the Demon Realm, which was brought into being by the villains Mira and Towa from “Heroes.” Although these demons haven’t been officially confirmed in “Daima,” there are hints of these antagonists in the new anime series that have surfaced so far.
In the anime “Dragon Ball Daima,” the characters Degetsu and Dr. Anisu share some characteristics with their non-canonical versions. Although it’s not yet confirmed if Fuu will appear, there might be a character who bears striking resemblances. However, Jiren is unlikely to show up in “Daima” due to the timeline the anime currently follows.
