Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO Confirmed for Gamescom Opening Night Live

As a lifelong Dragon Ball fan, I can hardly contain my excitement! The prospect of another sneak peek at Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO is like the ultimate dream come true. From Android Saga characters to Saiyan and Namek Saga ones, this game just keeps getting better and better. October 11 can’t come soon enough!

With Gamescom Opening Night Live rapidly approaching, the list of confirmed games is growing steadily, and another highly anticipated title has just been added to the roster set to appear at the event.

Taking to Twitter, producer and host Geoff Keighley revealed that Gamescom Opening Night Live will feature “a new look” at Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO. Bandai Namco and Spike Chunsoft’s upcoming 3D arena fighter has already received its fair share of trailers in recent weeks, but with its launch set for October, it makes sense that marketing efforts are ramping up.

As a longtime Dragon Ball Z fan who has grown up watching the series since its early days, I was genuinely thrilled when Bandai Namco announced this week that they would be introducing Android Saga characters to their game’s roster. Having fond memories of these iconic battles etched in my mind, it felt like stepping back into a time machine and revisiting some of the most exciting moments from my childhood.

On October 11th, Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO debuts on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC platforms. Additionally, titles like Civilization 7, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, Monster Hunter Wilds, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, and Marvel Rivals are also set to appear at Gamescom ONL. The event will unveil new game announcements as well.

Don’t miss out on the @gamescom Opening Night Live event on Tuesday for a fresh glimpse of DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO. The presentation will take place on August 20th at 11a PT / 2p ET / 7p BST / 8p CEST over at @dragonballgames.
