As a long-time Dragon Ball fan who’s seen countless Z-fighters rise and fall, I must say, the latest addition of Glorio and Mini Vegeta from Dragon Ball Daima to Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO is a delightful surprise. Having grown up with the original series, it’s fascinating to see how the franchise continues to evolve and expand its roster.
In the impressive lineup of over 180 playable characters, Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO is already bursting at the seams. However, as expected, the game will continue to expand its roster in the coming weeks. Recently, Bandai Namco and developer Spike Chunsoft have unveiled a few more of these upcoming characters.
In the upcoming second wave of downloadable content (DLC), characters Glorio and Mini Vegeta from the series “Dragon Ball Daima” will join the game. Earlier, it was announced that Gamma 1 and Gamma 2 would be introduced as part of the first wave of post-release DLC, themed around “Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero.” The second and third waves, however, will both center around characters from “Dragon Ball Daima.
Bandai Namco has kept quiet about the specifics of the upcoming third DLC, but with a total of three waves, the Season Pass promises to introduce approximately 20 new characters to the game’s team.
You can play ‘Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO’ on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, or your personal computer. In just 24 hours after its release, it managed to sell more than 3 million units globally. To read our review of the game, simply follow this link.
