The upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 is set to debut with several significant third-party games, and more are expected to be announced in the coming weeks and months. Interestingly, there’s speculation about an additional game joining this roster following a recent age rating reveal.
According to a tweet from their account, Saudi Arabia’s Media Regulation Authority has given a rating to “Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO” for the Nintendo Switch 2. This 3D arena fighter hasn’t been officially confirmed for the next-generation console yet, but it looks like Bandai Namco and Spike Chunsoft may be preparing to reveal some news about it soon. It’s unclear if the game will be available on the Switch 2 at its launch.
In our assessment of Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO, we bestowed upon it a rating of 8 out of 10, remarking that “Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO” has its flaws, as Episode Battle seems to fall shy of its intended impact, but it masterfully captures the series’ essence of power-fueled fantasy.” You can find our comprehensive review right here.
Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO is currently available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
