As a seasoned Dragon Ball fan with over two decades of gaming under my belt (and a few gray hairs to show for it), I must say that the latest roster expansion for Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO has me absolutely giddy with excitement! The inclusion of the Super Saiyan 4 forms, particularly my beloved Vegeta, is nothing short of music to my ears.
Bandai Namco’s roster for Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO keeps expanding, as shown in the latest trailer with a total of 15 new characters joining the game. The emphasis is on Dragon Ball GT, the series arc that followed DBZ, particularly the appearance of Super Saiyan 4. Take a look at it below.
Just as anticipated, Vegeta and Goku exhibit their Super Saiyan 4 transformations, along with their fusion, Gogeta, and its Super Saiyan 4 form. Syn Shenron, Omega Shenron, Baby Vegeta, Super Baby 1 and 2, and Great Ape Baby are also in the mix. The game allows players to command the GT iterations of Goku, his Super Saiyan 1 and 3 forms, Uub (the virtuous reincarnation of Majin Buu), and Majuub as well.
Absolutely, Pan, daughter of Gohan and Videl, is included as a playable character too. The trailer suggests there are more surprises in store, possibly from the films. If you’re hoping for Vegito Blue or the latest version of Broly from Dragon Ball Super, we might see those soon.
