Although Dragon Ball Daima didn’t occur during the timeframe where Ultra Instinct Goku and Gohan Beast emerged, the original anime series provided the necessary dose of Z-Fighter action that fans craved. Ever since the anime characters completed their adventures in the Demon Realm, shonen enthusiasts have been eagerly anticipating a resumption of Dragon Ball Super‘s manga or an appearance of its anime. Regrettably, despite hinting at something significant, it seems unlikely that a return for Goku and his companions is on the horizon as suggested by this piece.
After artist Toyotaro unveiled simultaneous artwork of Gohan Beast and Ultra Instinct Goku, fans of the Dragon Ball Super manga speculated if the ongoing break might soon end. Shueisha had subtly suggested a significant event was approaching, though it’s not the update many were anticipating. The art from Toyotaro will be turned into action figures, showcasing father and son side-by-side, much like in this unique illustration. We eagerly await seeing what these new action figures will resemble, but they are sure to sell out quickly among fans of the Saiyan race.

Gohan Vs. Goku
Previously in the Dragon Ball Super manga, the main fight was between a father and son. After the events of Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, the manga is exploring Gohan being taken to his father’s planet by Whis and Beerus, as both Goku and Vegeta wanted to witness Gohan’s new ultimate transformation. A battle not yet animated features Ultra Instinct and Beast going head-to-head, but it’s unclear which is more powerful. This encounter may prompt battles between Broly and Ultra Ego Vegeta against Gohan, leading us to wonder what potential danger lies ahead for the fighters in the anime.
Previously this year, there was a short resumption in the hiatus of “Dragon Ball Super” when a previously unpublished chapter by Akira Toriyama emerged, delving into how Goten and Trunks embarked on their own crime-fighting journey. When the manga eventually restarts, it might include several elements from “Dragon Ball Daima”. Fortunately, those responsible for its creation have recently mentioned that they intend to prolong the story of “Dragon Ball” for many years, so fans may not have to bid farewell to characters like Goku and Gohan anytime soon. Here’s hoping we get a quick comeback of “Dragon Ball Super”.
