Fans can anticipate updates about the upcoming “Dragon Ball Daima” anime, alongside an exciting unveiling: a fresh illustration of Goku from the manga artist of “Dragon Ball Super,” Toyotaro. What Is Next for Dragon Ball?
As a dedicated Dragon Ball fan and gamer, I’m thrilled to share that the most anticipated new release in our beloved franchise this year is none other than “Dragon Ball Daima.” This is an exciting new anime set in the Dragon Ball universe, with plans to debut sometime in October as part of the Fall 2024 anime lineup. Although details regarding its international distribution are yet to be confirmed, I can’t contain my excitement knowing that the late Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama collaborated on the story and character designs alongside Yoshitaka Yashima and Aya Komaki. Toei Animation is in charge of directing the series, with Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru adapting Toriyama’s designs for animation, and Yuuko Kakihara overseeing scriptwriting – this promises to be a masterpiece worth looking forward to!
Masako Nozawa is set to rejoin the anime production with her voice acting for the iconic character, Goku. At present, she is the only confirmed voice cast member announced for “Dragon Ball Daima” as the storyline remains a secret. Originally hinted by Toriyama, the new anime’s premise involves a conspiracy that shrinks Goku and his companions.
