Dragon Ball Trolls Fans With Majin Kuu’s Real Power

As a long-time Dragon Ball fan who has witnessed the evolution and transformation of characters since the original series, I must say that the introduction of Majin Kuu in Dragon Ball Daima has left me both amused and intrigued. While I initially expected a formidable foe to challenge Goku and Vegeta, I found myself pleasantly surprised by the unexpected twist.

In an unexpected twist for Dragon Ball Daima fans, the series unveiled an extraordinary power hidden within Majin Kuu, leaving viewers in awe. Since Goku and the Supreme Kai began traversing the Demon Realm, Dragon Ball Daima has been shaking things up quite significantly. Among the many surprises, one of the biggest was learning that Majin Buu’s origins were not tied to Babidi as previously believed. Instead, a new antagonist emerged—Majin Kuu. However, this monster turned out to be very different from what fans initially anticipated.

In the final episode of Dragon Ball Daima, we were introduced to Majin Kuu, who was hinted as a significant adversary that Goku and Vegeta would encounter in the future. However, at this moment, it appears that Majin Kuu is less of a formidable enemy than initially suggested. Instead, he seems more like a comedic character, lacking either the strength or the inclination to challenge one of the Tamagami warriors guarding the Dragon Balls in the Demon Realm. There’s still a chance this could change in future episodes due to unexpected events.

Majin Kuu’s Much Weaker Than Expected

In my observation, Dragon Ball Daima returns to Dr. Arinsu following the creation of the novel Majin Kuu, a creature reminiscent of Buu in terror, as I recall from past encounters. Eager to test its power, Dr. Arinsu pitted Kuu against the guardian protecting the Dragon Ball within the First Demon World. However, it became apparent that Kuu lacked the strength to overcome the guardian. To add insult to injury, it was revealed that Kuu’s true calling may not be combat but rather dancing and entertainment.

Later on, Kuu puts forth his utmost effort against the Tamagami, yet the guardian easily thwarts each attempt without breaking a sweat. Regardless of Kuu’s attempts to exploit his abilities with ki blasts and other means, they were all effortlessly countered or diverted by the guardian. In this moment, Dr. Arinsu deems her creation flawed, believing it lacks the power to vanquish a Tamagami, let alone Goku. However, Kuu remains unbothered, asserting that his speed and dance skills make him ideally suited for retail activities instead.

Majin Kuu Was Never Going to Be Stronger Than Majin Buu

However, it’s important to note that Majin Kuu was never expected to surpass Majin Buu in power. This newly crafted entity includes a fragment of the original Buu, but it was also infused with various creatures from the Demon Realm. A notable ingredient is a Saibaman seed, which are known for being among the least formidable opponents that Goku and his companions have ever encountered. Given that this new creature was designed to be controllable, there will be certain constraints on how powerful it can become.

Regardless of the evidence, Kuu was generally expected to be less formidable than Buu outside this specific context. If Kuu were to appear as one of Daima’s final adversaries, it would necessitate a villain that could be overcome by Mini Goku and his allies. Given that Buu required all their strength to defeat, a repetition of such an outcome was highly unlikely in the current storyline. In terms of the overall plot, Kuu was always expected to be weaker. However, in typical Toriyama style, it also serves as a comical twist or joke.
