For those who’ve saved data from the prior games, you’ll also receive a dragon-themed suit for Dragon Quest 1 (a dog suit) and a feline outfit for Dragon Quest 2 in addition to your regular gameplay. This added bonus serves as an enticement for owning all three titles. However, please note that these special suits can be acquired through standard gameplay as well.

1986 marked the debut of the Dragon Quest series in Japan, a game conceived by Yuji Horii and artistically enriched by the late Akira Toriyama, famed for his work on the manga Dragon Ball.
Originally, it achieved tremendous popularity in Japan, and although its North American launch under the title Dragon Warrior didn’t fare quite as well, its impact on the role-playing game (RPG) genre is indisputable.
The game was extremely successful in Japan, but when it was released in North America as Dragon Warrior, it didn’t do as well; however, its effect on the RPG genre remains significant.
In a somewhat puzzling sequence of events, Dragon Quest 1 and 2 unfold after the happenings depicted in Dragon Quest 3, yet they share the same overarching narrative thread.
