As a long-time fan of the Sandler clan, it’s always a delight to follow their escapades, both on and off the silver screen. From courtside seats at NBA games to premieres of their latest films, they seem to lead a life that’s nothing short of a real-life comedy.

Drew Barrymore and her 50 First Dates costar have blended their households.

Previously, a former member of “Charlie’s Angels” revealed that she unexpectedly found one of her children and Adam Sandler’s daughter enjoying an old romantic comedy from the 2000s featuring both of them, during a get-together at her home.

During an episode of “The Drew Barrymore Show,” as reported by Too Fab on November 11, Drew reminisced, “‘Aren’t you two already seeing enough of me and your father?’

During the conversation, the talk show host (who has two daughters, Olive (12) and Frankie (10), with ex-husband Will Kopelman) didn’t mention which child was watching the 2004 movie, but she did highlight that it was a heartwarming experience for her and Adam, who is father to Sadie (18) and Sunny (16) from his marriage with Jackie Sandler.

She recalls some specifics about the creation of the comedy, where it chronicled Henry (Adam) and his romance with Lucy (Drew), who endured short-term memory loss due to a car accident. Interestingly, Drew had shared that the film originally was titled “50 First Kisses” and was initially scripted with an entirely different conclusion.

In a recent episode of The Drew Barrymore Show, she mentioned that the original conclusion was her telling him, “It’s time for you to move on and live your own life, as there’s no future here for you,” to which he departed. Later, he returned to the restaurant, greeted the people with a simple “Hi, I’m Henry,” and the movie concluded.

Drew hasn’t embarked on this nostalgic journey with her co-star for the first time. In fact, back in January, she expressed a heartfelt sentiment towards Adam after accidentally watching their debut movie, “The Wedding Singer,” which they starred in together for the first time, on TV in 1998.

Barrymore shared a heartfelt video on Instagram earlier today. She originally planned to go to a yoga class, but postponed it to catch the event instead.

Turning to Adam, Drew said enthusiastically, “That movie we made together was fantastic! You’re truly amazing. Here’s wishing you a wonderful New Year!

The actor from “Happy Gilmore” felt a wave of nostalgia and responded to the post saying, “I’ve always loved you, Drew.
