Drew Barrymore Pokes Fun at Her Relationship Status

As I delve into the captivating journey of Drew Barrymore‘s life, I am truly awestruck by her indomitable spirit and remarkable resilience. From her early years as a child star to her transformation into a celebrated actress, producer, and entrepreneur, she has undeniably left an indelible mark on Hollywood.

Drew Barrymore may be going on 50 first dates in the near future.

The actress who played the lead role in “Charlie’s Angels” and has two children, Olive (age 12) and Frankie (age 10), with her former husband Will Kopelman, recently provided an amusingly playful update on her relationship status.

In a TikTok post on Dec 3rd, she captioned a photo where her hair flowed freely, “I was single last December.” A second selfie followed, showing Drew with disheveled hair and a scrunched face, accompanied by the words, “And guess what? I’m still single this December. Here’s the update!

The 49-year-old, who was previously married to Jeremy Thomas and Tom Green, recently shared an update confirming that she is currently single. Since her divorce from Will in 2016 after four years of marriage, Drew has been cautious about sharing details about her love life. Last year, she hinted at a romance on her show, but it seems this relationship ended before the holiday season.

It turns out that the individual I’ve been casually seeing over the past three years, I encountered on Raya. She mentioned this during an episode of The Drew Barrymore Show in October 2023. “I’ve invited him to a wedding next weekend,” she continued, “and he was surprised, saying, ‘You’re inviting me to a wedding after three and a half years?’

In that moment, Drew likewise acknowledged Taylor Swift, who has been in a relationship with Travis Kelce since the previous year, for motivating her to share openly about her romantic relationships.

On our initial meeting, as I observed him surrounded by his relatives, Drew shared that it was then when he experienced a significant “lightbulb” or “epiphany” moment, much like Oprah often has on her show.

Clearly, Taylor Swift is far from ordinary,” she went on, “and as she put it, ‘I’m a woman. I’ll go out on a date with a man. I won’t overanalyze this. I won’t be coy and mysterious about it.’

At present, Drew is unattached, but she’s clear about the qualities she’s not seeking in a potential partner: someone lacking drive or aspirations.

She stated during a Nov. 11 episode of her show, ‘I can’t endorse it.’ She found out the hard way that her philosophy is, ‘If you’re not productive, we won’t be.’
