DualSense PS5 Controllers Will Soon Be Able to Pair with Multiple Devices At Once

The DualSense controller for PS5 is exceptionally good, with its additional features truly shining. It appears that Sony continues to introduce more capabilities to this impressive control device.

Unexpectedly, PlayStation shared on their social media that they’re working on an update for their controllers to enable pairing with multiple devices.

Later this year, it’s planned that an update for the DualSense controller will be rolled out, improving its “pairing capabilities”. This means you’ll be able to utilize the controller across various devices without needing to re-pair them.

By employing a single pad for your PS5 and PC, you can simultaneously synchronize your DualSense controller across both devices. This means that you won’t have to re-sync the controller every time you switch between devices.

At the moment, when you switch from using your DualSense controller on a different device and return to your PlayStation 5, you’ll need to connect the controller to your console via USB cable in order for it to re-sync with your system.

This seemingly small aspect is incredibly beneficial for users switching between multiple devices with their PlayStation 5 controllers. It will undoubtedly alleviate occasional frustration as you transition from one device to another.

Sony says to stay tuned for more details; hopefully they aren’t too far away.
