Dubai Princess Shares Photo With 2-Month-Old Daughter After Breakup

As a dedicated follower of the royal families in the Middle East, I have been closely monitoring the latest developments in the Dubai royal family. The news of Sheikha Mahra Mohammed Rashed Al Maktoum’s divorce from her husband Sheikh Mana bin Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mana Al Maktoum has taken many by surprise, and I can’t help but feel a deep sense of compassion for the young princess.

The Dubai princess is moving on.

After announcing her divorce from her husband, Sheikha Mahra Mohammed Rashed Al Maktoum shared glimpses of her new life as a single woman on social media.

I came across a striking image shared on July 21th, featuring the daughter of Dubai’s ruler, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. In the picture, she is seen standing next to a beautiful equestrian portrait, with her own young daughter in her arms. Dressed in a dark floral gown adorned with orange blossoms, she gently leaned down to plant a tender kiss on her 2-month-old’s forehead.

A heartwarming mother-daughter instance unfolds barely days after the 30-year-old woman made headlines with her unexpected divorce petition against her husband on July 16, alleging him of infidelity.

“Dear husband,” Sheikha Mahra wrote in her message, “Given that you are engaged with others, I am formally announcing our separation. I am granting us a divorce. I am ending our marriage.”

The princess from Dubai, being one of twenty-six siblings of her esteemed father, concluded her message with a subtle jab, “Take care, my former spouse.”

Previously, TopMob News attempted to get further remarks from the representatives of both sides but has yet to receive a response.

The princess’ announcement of divorce bears resemblance to the Islamic custom known as “triple talaq.” Under Islamic law, a Muslim husband can legally end his marriage by pronouncing the word “divorce” three times, as reported by the BBC. In the United Arab Emirates, marital and divorce proceedings between Muslim couples are regulated by Sharia law, as stated on the country’s official website.

As an obsessed fan, I’ve been closely following the story of Sheikha Mahra and her marriage. Despite the fact that she doesn’t have the legal right to divorce her husband under Sharia law, she had dropped hints about the possibility of ending their one-year union last month.

I took yet another June photo with my dear daughter, who joined us in May. The caption read simply, “It’s just the two of us.”
