Sadie Robertson has navigated a “whirlwind” of emotions while growing her own dynasty.
The daughter of “Duck Dynasty” star Willie Robertson, who is currently pregnant with her third child alongside husband Christian Huff, recently required medical attention upon returning from a trip to Florida for a conference.
Sadie posted on Instagram about experiencing severe symptoms that appear to be related to food poisoning last Friday afternoon, and she was subsequently admitted to the hospital due to frequent contractions every three minutes for a few hours. The post includes a video of her baby bump from April 13.
The 27-year-old woman, who is also mother to Haven Belle, aged 23 months, and Honey James, aged 3, shared positive news. She expressed gratitude for receiving excellent hospital care, which allowed them to determine that she was not experiencing pre-term labor, but rather the consequences of food poisoning.
The writer, who verified on the first day of April that she’s at the midpoint of her pregnancy, went on to share details about her journey with her third child while pregnant.
This pregnancy has been quite a roller coaster, yet I’m incredibly grateful that the baby seems undisturbed by our turbulent journey,” she added. “I hope today brings a change of course! I’m sharing this because Instagram needs a dose of reality too – let’s add some authenticity here! Although my body aches, I’m thankful for it.
The Live Original ministry founder finished her message by stating, “God is good!”
Sadie is all geared up to feature in the forthcoming “Duck Dynasty: The Revival,” airing on A&E starting May 28, and she’s confident following her dedication to self-improvement and her loved ones over the last few years.
In her interview with TopMob News in 2023, Sadie shared that each of us has evolved into our unique selves, discovering what ignites our passions. She added that this transformation might not have taken place if we hadn’t stepped away from familiar routines. Now, she’s re-engaged with renewed insights and deeply connected to her community.

In a recent episode of the “In Depth With Graham Bensinger” podcast, I found myself in a challenging situation. I’ve been experiencing constant muscle spasms throughout my body. Currently, from my toes to knees, it’s surprisingly numb,” he remarked during his Trading Secrets podcast episode on March 24th. “To give you an idea, let me stress that this is unusual – I don’t want to come off as boastful. But just two or three weeks ago, possibly a month, I was squatting approximately 295 pounds. Now, I can’t even perform a simple squat on one foot, let alone a one-legged squat, I would fall over. It feels like I’ve had a stroke or something similar.
But with the help of a back specialist and some steroids, he added, “We’re on the mend.”

In a post on Instagram, she shared that there was another person present who carelessly discharged their firearm in the incorrect direction, striking her in the face. In my own words as a dedicated follower: While the internet can sometimes be unforgiving, I’m thankful that in this instance, it proved helpful for me. After facing a wave of criticism following multiple interviews, I remember thinking, “Alright everyone, calm down,” on an episode of Call Her Daddy in January 2025. However, medical professionals were offering their insights in the comments and suggested that something might be amiss with my health based on my unusual appearance. I found myself wondering, “Am I really being trolled by doctors?”
After these doctors speculated that I might have Cushing syndrome due to elevated cortisol levels or steroid injections, the creator of Life & Beth thought, “Wait, I’ve been receiving steroid injections for my scars.”
“I had a breast reduction, a C-section, and other procedures, so I was getting these steroid injections,” I explained. “This led to my condition called Cushing syndrome, which I wouldn’t have known about if the internet hadn’t been so relentless.”
Now, I am just grateful to be healthy. As I shared in a February 2024 News Not Noise newsletter, “Discovering that I had a type of Cushing that would naturally resolve itself and that I’m in good health was the best news I could have hoped for.
Hailey Bieber experienced a very alarming incident in March 2022 during breakfast with her husband Justin Bieber. She suddenly started displaying symptoms similar to a stroke, which included speech impairment and facial drooping. Sharing her experience a month later on YouTube, she recalled that she couldn’t respond when Justin asked if she was alright, and when she tried to speak, she found it difficult.
The medical team diagnosed this incident as a Transient Ischemic Attack (TIA) caused by a small blood clot in her brain. Further investigation revealed that Hailey had a heart condition called patent foramen ovale (PFO), where there was a hole in her heart allowing the blood clot to travel into her heart, escape through this hole, and reach her brain.
Hailey underwent a successful PFO closure procedure and reported feeling well afterward.
In the same year Hailey had her health issue, Justin also faced one of his own. Specifically, in June 2022, the “Baby” singer disclosed that he was diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, a condition that affected the mobility of certain parts of his face and led to the cancellation of the rest of his Justice World Tour.
In an Instagram video at the time, Justin explained, “This virus has attacked the nerve in my ear and my facial nerves, causing paralysis on this side of my face.” As viewers could see, his eye wouldn’t blink, he couldn’t smile from one side of his face, and that nostril wouldn’t move – indicating full paralysis on that side. He further mentioned that eating had become increasingly difficult for him. However, the paralysis eventually subsided.
Hailey shared on a June 2022 episode of Good Morning America that Justin was “doing really well” and feeling much better. She acknowledged that it was a scary and unexpected situation but expressed gratitude that he was recovering nicely.
Initially keeping the details of his hospitalization in April 2023 confidential, Jamie Foxx eventually disclosed his experiences. In his 2024 Netflix special titled “What Had Happened Was…”, he explained that one day in Atlanta, he asked for an aspirin due to a severe headache. However, before he could take it, he passed out and lost consciousness for about twenty days.
A doctor initially administered him a cortisone shot and sent him home, but his sister Deidra Dixon then took him to a hospital where they discovered he had suffered a brain bleed that led to a stroke. After undergoing surgery on the 20th day, Foxx woke up in a wheelchair on May 4 and was unable to walk. He subsequently traveled to Chicago for rehabilitation and therapy.
“I want to express my gratitude for every prayer,” he said, “because I truly needed them all.
Emilia Clarke, known for her role in Game of Thrones, filmed intense battle scenes. However, in 2019, she penned an essay titled “A Battle for My Life” in The New Yorker. In the piece, she described an incident at the gym where she felt a severe headache, vomited violently, and the pain was escalating. She suspected her brain had been injured.
Upon hospitalization for a scan, she was diagnosed with a subarachnoid hemorrhage, a dangerous type of stroke caused by bleeding around the brain. Emilia clarified that she had an aneurysm, a ruptured artery.
She underwent immediate surgery to repair the aneurysm, finding the pain unbearable. During recovery, she experienced aphasia and spoke incoherently. A week later, the aphasia subsided, and she was discharged from the hospital after a month.
In 2013, during another brain scan, she discovered that the growth had doubled in size, necessitating another surgery. Upon waking, she was in agony as the procedure had failed. The doctors informed her that her chances of survival were slim if they didn’t operate again. This time, they needed to access her brain through the traditional method—her skull.
Fortunately, Emilia is now reportedly back to 100%.
Snoop Dogg’s daughter, Cori Broadus, expresses her gratitude towards her family following a severe stroke in January 2024. When she informed them about the incident, they immediately rushed to be by her side. “I texted them that I just had a stroke and sent them a picture,” she recalled telling TopMob News correspondent Will Marfuggi in December 2024. “Everyone came to my rescue.”
Unfortunately, due to other health issues such as lupus and kidney failure, Cori’s hospital stay was prolonged beyond her initial expectation. In her own words, she said, “I could have gone home after my stroke, but my lupus wasn’t doing so well. My kidneys were failing. It was a lot going on.”
However, today, Cori is making progress in her recovery. She reassured, “I’m doing great. I just had a little bit of motor skills that I had to work back on. But other than that, I was fine.
In her twenties, the actress Shailene Woodley faced numerous health challenges. She experienced issues such as losing her hearing, extreme fatigue, stomach pain, and fear of food due to discomfort. This was a complex set of problems with various doctors offering different diagnoses. Despite this, Shailene, who has a background in holistic medicine, pursued healing from both conventional medical professionals and independent healers. This decade-long journey also led her to grapple with mental health issues like body dysmorphia, identity confusion, and feelings of insecurity and uncertainty about her own self. However, after focusing on her physical and mental well-being, Shailene is now healthy and content.
