As someone who’s spent countless hours battling mythical beasts and legendary foes, I can confidently say that these trials are no walk in the park! The “Formidable Four” of Flower-Feather Clan have been giving me quite the run for my money.

Six Local Legends reside within Natlan, one of which features unique obsidian totem poles. Overcoming these natives legends not only grants you victory but also rewards you with accomplishments tied to the Duelist: Series II collection.

“Bronzelock”

1) Defeat Local Legend: Bronzelock.

Location: If you haven’t unlocked the waypoint on top of the island yet, first, teleport to the waypoint east of Ochkanatlan and head to the island far east. On that island, go to the small pond of water and you can see a Flowlight Target on the pond. Indwell a Koholasaurus and destroy all the Flowlight Targets to unlock a Spiritway that brings you to the floating island up north. On that island is your first Local Legend.

2) During the course of completing a single challenge, break Bronzelock’s core 3 times

For seasoned gamers like yourself, I’m confident you understand the goal behind The Ruin Drake: Earthguard’s achievement. This drake can occasionally unleash a hazardous burst of energy and boost its own Resistance to Elemental damage of the type it was previously hit with.

When the entity is about to release an energy surge or ready for a swift assault, its core becomes visible. Seize this moment to strike at its core (remember to do this thrice prior to completely vanquishing it), and you’ll render the creature immobile and diminish its Elemental RES bonus. It doesn’t matter if they share the same elemental type; a single one will suffice.

3) Defeat Bronzelock after Bronzelock has increased RES to 4 different Elemental Types

To clarify, for your next task, you should aim for a team composition that includes distinctly four unique members, regardless of their roles or characteristics.

When the entity readies to release an energy surge or prepares for a swift elemental assault, its core atop its head becomes vulnerable. During this instance, avoid attacking the core and allow it to build up the charge until it finishes, as doing so will amplify the RES of its subsequent elemental damage output.

During battle, keep in mind that the Ruin Drake will store and use the type of damage (either Physical or Elemental) it has taken the most of. If it takes more Physical Damage than Elemental Damage, it will not absorb an element. The stored element increases its resistance by 40% when used in its next attack. For optimal results, focus on attacking with a single Elemental character until the Ruin Drake unleashes its ultimate move, then switch to another Elemental character. This strategy is effective because the Ruin Drake tends to use this move frequently.

“Rilai”

1) Defeat Local Legend: Rilai

Destination: Make your way to the specified location of the Masters of the Night Wind, heading southwest initially and then walking slightly towards the north. There, you’ll encounter a solitary Tribal Warrior who carries the title of Local Legend. Your objective is to overcome her in battle.

2) Defeat Rilai while Rilai is using “Fusion Nova”

In a manner reminiscent of Raiden in her eternal domain, Fusion Nova sees Rilai hovering suspended in mid-air. As the scene unfolds, clusters of Cryo Area of Effect (AoE) manifest on the ground repeatedly. To emerge victorious, it’s crucial to deplete her health until only 1% remains, and then swiftly execute your final attack precisely when she initiates this particular assault.

3) Defeat Rilai while Rilai is using “Fusion Nova” and without being hit by opponents’ attacks

In the previous manner, your task remains defeating Rilai, but with a twist: you must endure no hits to earn this specific achievement. This proves challenging as she has the habit of teleporting away from us and launching persistent long-range assaults from behind our back.

Here are some tips:
(1) Use food and potions if you have, especially for sprinting.

1) Keep yourself near her. If you’re close, she won’t use the rapid homing attack, which can be risky due to its high speed. Instead, she’ll opt for a teleporting melee attack that’s more manageable to avoid.

When engaging in combat with her while using Fusion Nova, avoid attacking unless it’s an attempt to kill her. Instead, retreat due to the sudden and swift area-of-effect abilities that can catch you off guard if you’re focused on attacking. It’s fine to leave an off-field elemental skill like Furina’s E or Xiangling’s E behind though.

Avoid resorting to three consecutive physical assaults against her, as she has the ability to deflect them thrice. Following this defense, she will vanish and generate a stationary barrel in her previous location. Simultaneously, one to three flying barrels will chase after you. The first barrel might take you by surprise.

“Spirit of the Fallen Dawnstar”

1) Defeat Local Legend: Spirit of the Fallen Dawnstar

Location: Travel to the designated southwest waypoint of Masters of the Night Wind. Look towards the southwest and identify a towering mountain in the distance. Move closer to that mountain and find a Qucusaur Indwelling on the ground nearby. Inhabit the Qucusaur or alternatively, use Xilonen or Kachina to ascend the mountain. Once atop, fly to the mountain’s peak. If you prefer a more direct route without using the roundabout method, simply climb the mountain with Xilonen or Kachina.

2) Defeat Spirit of the Fallen Dawnstar without ever having thawed the frozen torch

After hitting a specific point in the fight, the Iktomisaurus will soar into the skies, casting a Cryo Ward that chills the sacrificial brazier, leaving me vulnerable to its relentless, powerful assaults for a while afterward. Even with Zhongli’s divine shield, there’s no way to defend against this barrage of attacks.

To clarify, avoid using Pyro attacks on the frozen torch since we don’t want to thaw it. Instead, direct your Pyro attacks towards the floating Iktomisaurus to break its Cryo barrier. For this task, consider bringing a Pyro DPS character like Yoimiya or Lyney along with a shielder to ensure they can attack without being staggered. As soon as the Cryo shield is eliminated and the boss falls, it will take significant damage. Therefore, from the beginning, focus on attacking it until a Cryo shield is formed, then target and break that shield to inflict maximum damage. Repeat this process until the boss is defeated.

3) Defeat Spirit of the Fallen Dawnstar without ever having been hit by the Obsidian Storm

In simpler terms, Iktomisaurus unleashes a powerful move called Obsidian Storm once it hovers and rushes forward. To prevent this from happening, you should aim to break its Cryo shield using Pyro or Electro abilities just like before. This is crucial because if the entire arena’s ground turns into Cryo, it will trigger the Obsidian Storm attack.

Concerning the Cryo tornadoes during the Iktomisaurus’s levitation, rest assured that they won’t interfere with the outcome (you may still be momentarily disoriented, though, so remember to put on your shield for protection).

“Potapo’s Solidarity”

1) Defeat Local Legend: Potapo’s Solidarity

Navigate to the south end of the Stadium of the Sacred Flame, close to the Fishing Association. From there, move northwest. You’ll notice an obsidian totem pole standing by the water.

2) During the course of completing a single challenge, fully restore the HP of each and every Protection Spirit

In this thrilling encounter, I find myself facing two distinct Cryo Wayobs – the benevolent ones I’ve affectionately named as Protective Guardians, and their menacing counterparts, the Malicious Spirits. The kindly guardians are effortlessly identifiable with a lush green HP bar hovering above them.

Among the two kinds, the benevolent Wayob will intermittently establish a spiritual link with your character, and when each member of your party regains health points (HP), the same amount will be restored to the Guardian Spirit. To earn this achievement, you must completely heal every Protection Spirit, which often appears once a significant portion of the malevolent spirit’s HP has been depleted.

I prefer Neuvillette’s team as it excels because one of his unique abilities, Charged ATK upon absorbing Sourcewater Droplets, instantly heals nearly half of a spirit’s HP. With him alone ensuring a fill-up of half the HP, you simply need to include additional healers such as Kuki Shinobu and Baizhu in the team, making it ready for action.

3) During the course of completing a single challenge, no characters were downed and have Protection Spirit use “Decisive: Binding of Dawn and Dusk’s Breaking”

In the third objective, it’s crucial that no member of your team meets harm during the task completion; ensure everyone stays safe.

There are two kinds of actions the benevolent spirit can execute:

You can see the differences in the beam’s thickness and overall damage. The Pierce attack will deal 30k/40k+ damage while the Decisive attack will deal 50k/80k+ damage (the number differs depending on your WL). It’s best if you have 2 or 3 healers to ensure a higher chance of success.

Remember that Potapo’s widespread burst attack disregards shields, Elemental Burst invincibility frames, and dash invincibility frames. Also, this attack can deal over 25,000 damage, so ensure your active character has more than 30,000 HP to avoid losing them.

“Tupayo’s Aid”

1) Defeat Local Legend: Tupayo’s Aid

Destination: Make your way to the Statue of the Seven, situated west of the Flower-Feather Clan. Find a Qucusaur on the western side before approaching the vibrant orange Phlogiston Wind Tunnel. Ascend the mountain by entering the tunnel; you’ll find the obsidian totem pole at its peak.

2) During the course of completing a single challenge, no characters were downed

Simply put, ensure no characters meet their demise while engaging with this Local Legend. Be cautious of its final move as it inflicts significant damage.

3) Defeat Tupayo’s Aid while they are hovering in the air

During the course of this fight, once a specific phase in the battle is reached, the Burning-Aflame Wayob Manifestation will utter a spell to invoke a blazing skyfire, encompassing the entire arena. We can refer to this as its ultimate move.

Concurrently, there will be winds called “Phlogiston Wind Currents” on the battlefield to evade attacks from the Pyro Wayob. Utilize these wind currents to soar above the Pyro Wayob and perform a dive attack, which should interrupt their incantation. However, this is NOT the method required for achieving that goal.

The next occasion when Pyro Wayob employs his ultimate move, instead of just utilizing the Phlogiston Wind Current, you’ll notice wind rings as well. You can glide along with the Phlogiston Wind Current initially, then glide towards the wind ring current to navigate towards the floating Pyro Wayob who will be stunned (and interrupt his incantation). This time, the first use of the ultimate won’t involve floating, but the second one will.

Alternatively, consider utilizing long-range attacks from archers or off-field damage dealers to take down floating enemies similar to Furina’s Salon Members. Ensure that the enemy’s health (HP) is almost depleted, around 1%, before it uses its ultimate attack again, as this will make finishing it off much simpler once it floats up.

“Ironbeard”

1) Defeat Local Legend: Ironbeard

Location: Teleport to the Reputation NPC in Flower-Feather Clan and glide northeast towards the marked location. The totem is easy to spot from afar so you won’t miss it.

2) Defeat Ironbeard without ever letting Ironbeard break “Molten Barbs”

In this battle scenario, your adversary can generate “Molten Spikes” by pounding the ground. Both Geo Assaults and Plunging Attacks can dismantle these Molten Spikes, but using Plunging Attacks to eliminate Molten Spikes will cause explosions, causing damage to your opponents. If you fail to destroy the Molten Spikes promptly, they will self-detonate and inflict damage on characters present in the field.

To win the entire battle effectively against Ironbead, it’s crucial that you prevent the Molten Barbs from materializing. If you position yourself with your back towards the barrier when Ironbeard strikes the ground to create a Molten Barb, it will be generated beyond the barrier, thereby eliminating it immediately. This is one strategy to circumvent the challenge.

3) Defeat Ironbeard without being hit by any of Ironbeard’s attacks

As a devoted admirer, I’d like to offer a strategy: Ensure a safe passage for your character by avoiding direct confrontation with Ironbeard. Ranged attacks are your best bet since they prevent him from retaliating. Given that he’s a melee attacker, it’s ideal to keep your distance and let the arrows fly.
