Duggar Baby #3 Arrives! 👶🍼 You Won’t Believe The Name!

There’s another Duggar on the block.

Jeremiah and Hannah Duggar shared on the 18th of May that they had just added a new member to their family – a sweet little girl, making them proud parents of three daughters.

Experiencing the magic of meeting and developing feelings for a brand-new baby is simply incomparable! This joyous news was shared by the couple on their Instagram post dated May 18. They are ecstatic to introduce their newest family member, Emery ‘Emy’ Jane Duggar.

Sharing in their post, Jeremiah, age 26, Hannah, age 29 (and proud parents to Brynley Noelle, 2, and Brielle Grace, 1) posted two heartwarming professional shots of our little girl, all snuggled up on a pristine white blanket, clad in a crisp white onesie and adorned with a darling velvet maroon headband boasting a bow.

Jeremiah’s siblings couldn’t contain their enthusiasm as they shared their delight over the latest expansion of the family tree, with one sibling remarking on the news to congratulate the parents-to-be on their third child.

I can hardly contain my excitement as I exclaim, “You two are absolutely adorable!” Indeed, it seems Jinger Duggar, at the ripe age of 31, is just as thrilled as I am, expressing her joy with, “So excited for you all!” Similarly, my dear sister in fandom, Jill Duggar, aged 34, shares this sentiment, adding her own heartfelt congratulations: “Congratulations guys! She’s a doll!

Maddie Grace Duggar, my dear sister-in-law who is married to Jason Duggar, expressed her joy by saying, “I am so thrilled for both of you!!!

In the given picture, the couple tenderly holds their two little daughters while displaying a set of pink infant shoes. It’s worth mentioning that Emy isn’t the only Duggar relative to have recently arrived, as Jinger and her husband Jeremy Vuolo welcomed their third child, Finnegan, towards the end of March.

In the provided image, the couple tenderly held their two small daughters while showing off a pair of pink infant shoes. It’s worth mentioning that Emy isn’t the only Duggar relative to have recently arrived; Jinger and her husband Jeremy Vuolo welcomed their third child, Finnegan, in late March as well.

Not only do they have numerous cousins (and the number keeps growing), but this abundance brings not just a multitude of family members, but also a multitude of names to remember. Previously, Jinger and Jeremy shared that managing all these relatives, especially their daughters Felicity, who is 6 years old, and Evangeline, who is 4 years old, can be quite the task.

She confessed on her Jeremy & Jinger podcast that they often struggle with remembering half of their relatives’ names. She added that even some of the cousins have trouble recalling one another’s names, not because they don’t know each other well, but specifically the older relatives like aunts and uncles. There are simply too many to keep track of.

As a devoted admirer, I’d like to share a heartwarming tale: My high school sweetheart and I, now the proud parents of nineteen children and grandparents to more than three dozen little ones, first crossed paths in our teenage years.

Michelle mentioned that she felt “rescued” when she was 15 years old. One evening, Jim Bob was conducting house visits for his Baptist church and, upon the suggestion of a friend who said “there’s this girl from school who just had a spiritual awakening and is a cheerleader, she lives at the Ruark family’s place,” he ended up visiting the Ruark household.

They extended an invitation for Michelle to attend Sunday school at their church, and Jim Bob expressed a hope that God might make them each other’s spiritual guides – although it seems their initial encounter didn’t leave a strong impression on Michelle. A year after this, she applied for a position at the yogurt shop owned by Jim Bob’s parents. In a letter posted on their family blog in 2017 for Jim Bob’s birthday and their 33rd wedding anniversary, Michelle recalled their first encounter: “You stood behind the counter where I was working at the cash register, and you shyly introduced yourself to me. You were sweet, although I don’t recall much about that conversation, except that you eventually asked me if I would accompany you to your junior-senior banquet!

At Shiloh Christian, they dined together, but it wasn’t until they spent hours talking about the Bible at her family home afterward that she felt their connection deepen. As Michelle has put it, “Our hearts were bound together from there.” They both graduated high school in May 1984 and got married just a few months later, with Michelle being 17 and Jim Bob being 19.

The couple dedicated themselves to God and each other for the long run.

Jim Bob previously held the position of a state legislator, representing Arkansas House of Representatives’ sixth district from 1999 to 2002. During this time, he served as vice chair of the House Corrections and Criminal Law Subcommittee. He attempted to secure a seat in the U.S. Senate in 2002, but was unsuccessful in the primary. In 2006, his effort to become the Republican nominee for Arkansas State Senate District 35 also did not lead to victory.

They, along with Michelle, who are real estate professionals with valid licenses, have been actively involved in conservative movements – a part of their lifestyle that earned them the support and criticism from both sides, including the reality TV show “19 Kids and Counting” (originally titled “17 Kids and Counting,” which debuted in 2008).

As of October 2024, they were grandparents of 33 with three on the way.

The oldest Duggar family member, Josh Duggar, entered the world on March 3, 1988. Likewise, he took up the mantle of a conservative advocate, advocating for the Family Research Council.

In 2015, he resigned following the emergence of old police records detailing allegations against him. These accusations dated back to when he was a teenager and involved multiple girls, including his sisters Jessa Duggar and Jill Duggar. Later in June that same year, Jessa defended her brother in an interview with Fox News, stating that the harsh words used against Josh were “exaggerated and false” and she could say this because she was one of the victims herself.

In a September 26, 2008 wedding ceremony that was showcased on the series “19 Kids and Counting”, his wife, Anna Duggar, has remained loyal to him, even after he confessed to infidelity.

In 2016, when he admitted himself to a rehabilitation facility, his parents deemed it an essential initial move towards restoration and healing.

The parents of Mackynzie (born October 8, 2009), Michael (June 15, 2011), and Marcus (June 2, 2013) are Anna’s family. When the scandal occurred, she gave birth to their fourth child, Meredith, on July 16, 2015, the same day TLC canceled “19 Kids.” Their fifth child, Mason Garett, was born September 12, 2017, Maryella Hope joined them on November 27, 2019, and their seventh baby, Madyson Lily, arrived October 23, 2021.

Back in April 2021, a federal court indicted Josh for two separate charges: receiving and possessing child pornography. He pleaded not guilty on both counts. In 2022, he was convicted of both offenses (though the possession charge was later dismissed by the judge), and he received a sentence of 12 and a half years in prison.

Not long after Josh’s birth, Michelle conceived another child, unfortunately experiencing a miscarriage. As they mourned this loss and sought divine guidance, they discovered they were expecting twins.

She expressed that it felt like a special gift, as if God was offering us comfort. We’re still growing and learning, and this is quite extraordinary. It’s rare because I breastfeed my children, but my kids are so close in age – I have one baby and then another eight months later. It seems the Lord has chosen to work in an uncommon way within our circumstances.

John David Duggar and his twin sister Jana Duggar were born on Jan. 12, 1990.

Ever since I’d known about their friendship spanning over several years, even before they met at that fateful church gathering in Abbie’s home state of Oklahoma, I’ve been eagerly awaiting the day John David and Abbie-Grace Burnett would become one. And finally, on Nov 3, 2018, my heart raced as I watched them exchange their vows!

On January 7, 2020, they graciously ushered their daughter Grace Annette Duggar into the world, and in September 2022, they joyfully welcomed their son Charlie Duggar.

On her 30th birthday in January 2020, Jana wrote a heartfelt message to John, “Ever since we were children, people have asked us if we share some sort of twin connection – the sense of feeling what the other is feeling or knowing what the other is thinking…Well, John, I’ve always said no – but now, on the day little Gracie was born, I felt every ounce of joy you did, so perhaps there really is something to it!

Jana went on to say, “It’s just delightful observing you and Abbie as parents! You two are instinctive! The very traits that make you a fantastic brother will surely translate into you being an outstanding father.

Jana observed as eleven out of her eighteen siblings tied the knot before she met Stephen Wissmann, whose sister Hannah Wissmann is wed to one of her own brothers, Jeremiah. However, even though there were moments of exasperation, she remained steadfast in believing that it was all part of God’s design.

In August 2024, just before her wedding, Jana expressed to People that she hasn’t always grasped the overall plan, but she trusts that God has what’s best for everyone. Therefore, she decided to marry later in life. She emphasized that every individual’s journey is unique, and if we were all identical, life would be monotonous.

Born on May 17, 1991, Jill Duggar (now Dillard) shared a heartwarming story similar to her parents’. On Christmas 2011, she crossed paths with Derick, who lived approximately 45 minutes away, when he visited the Duggar family home while out caroling with his church group.

Jim Bob served as a matchmaker, and Jill and Derick found a strong connection, nurturing their relationship through emails and video calls. In November of the same year, they decided to meet in person in Nepal, where their bond deepened even further. Their relationship continued to flourish, culminating in Derick proposing to Jill’s father in February 2014. They officially got married on June 21, 2014, and have since welcomed three sons into their family: Israel (born April 6, 2015), Samuel (born July 8, 2017), and Frederick (born July 7, 2022).

In the month of April 2024, it was disclosed by Jill that she had experienced a miscarriage, which was their anticipated first daughter with Derick.

In the Amazon Prime Video documentary titled Shiny Happy People: Duggar Family Secrets, which aired in June 2023, Jill and Derick pondered over the contentious issues and religious views linked to her family, as portrayed in the series.

Jim Bob and Michelle’s fifth child, Jessa Duggar, was born Nov. 4, 1992.

Jessa met Ben at church, and he started wooing her in 2013 using an old-fashioned method of courtship, which was a novel idea for many viewers. Prior to their engagement, the couple didn’t discuss their relationships publicly, so Jim Bob clarified to People magazine, “Courting involves getting to know each other in a group setting, with both families spending time together and the couple establishing shared goals to decide if they are destined for marriage. In contrast to dating, a couple may often spend time alone, which can sometimes lead to a more intimate relationship.

In August 2014, Ben asked for Jessa’s hand in marriage, and they got engaged. They shared their first moment of being a couple by holding hands. Their wedding took place on November 1, 2014. When Jessa was pregnant with their first child, the show “19 Kids and Counting” was terminated. The network TLC subsequently broadcasted a special program about sexual abuse, which included interviews with Jill and Jessa, to increase awareness about the topic. Later that winter, Jessa and Jill became the main characters in their own show, “Jill and Jessa: Counting On.” This show later expanded to include other Duggar siblings, becoming known as “Counting On.

During November 5, 2015, Jessa and Ben had their first son, Spurgeon. In February 6, 2017, they welcomed another son, Henry. Ivy Jane was born to them on May 28, 2019, followed by daughter Fern in July 2021. Tragically, Jessa experienced a miscarriage during the 2022 holiday season. She later gave birth to her fifth child, George, in December 2023.

The sixth Duggar child, Jinger Vuolo, was born Dec. 21, 1993.

Jinger and Jeremy first crossed paths while serving in ministry work in Laredo, Texas, and their romantic relationship began in 2016. They tied the knot on November 5, 2016, which happened to be the birthday of her nephew Spurgeon – quite a coincidence when you’re part of such a large family! Soon after their wedding, speculation about a possible pregnancy began to swirl around them.

In a year’s time, we expect to have established ourselves, continuing our work in ministry right here in Laredo. Our main goal is simply to serve the Lord in whatever capacity we can. This was stated by Jinger on a June 2017 episode of Counting On.

On July 19, 2018, their child named Felicity entered the world. They announced in May of that same year that Jinger was pregnant once more; she had experienced a miscarriage the previous autumn. In November 2020, they were blessed with another daughter, Evangeline Jo.

Son Finnegan Charles was born March 29, 2025.

On January 20, 1995, Joseph Duggar was born. He took the opportunity presented by a romantic setting – Joy-Anna’s wedding in May 2017 – to propose to Kendra, whom he had only been courting for a short while after meeting through church.

Joseph confessed to People magazine that he felt quite anxious leading up to it, but he wasn’t worried she would refuse because she had already said, “‘I’m just waiting for you!'” He expressed afterward. Kendra added, “I’m overjoyed and utterly astonished. There are so many things I want to express, but all I can say is shocked.

Since then, they have revealed the births of their son Garrett (born in June 2018), daughter Addison (born in November 2019), and most recently, their daughter Brooklyn (born in February 2021).

Eighth in line, Josiah Duggar was born on Aug. 28, 1996.

A few months following the public revelation of his relationship with Lauren, they announced their engagement in March 2018. In a statement, he shared that the location where he proposed to Lauren was the same spot where her parents became engaged. This area carries a rich family history, making it particularly significant for Lauren.

Michelle, Lauren’s future mother-in-law, expressed her affection in a family blog post video, saying “We adore Lauren, she is truly a treasure.” Jessa and Ben added their congratulations, along with chocolate shaped like x’s and o’s. “I suspect you both wish to save your first kiss for the wedding, but if you visit us, we’ll give you…” She displayed a sweet treat as an encouraging gesture.

Looking back at my past relationship with Marjorie Jackson in the scorching summer of 2015, I found ourselves parting ways, following our individual paths. As I reminisce about our time together, shared with People magazine in March 2016, I can’t help but remember the joy we experienced and the spiritual guidance that steered us. Marjorie didn’t feel it was the opportune moment back then, so we decided to pause our journey for a while.

On June 30, 2018, they officially got married, telling People their wedding day was “just perfect.” Their first child, Bella Milagro, was born on Nov. 8, 2019, which means ‘miracle baby.’ This was significant because the couple had previously experienced a miscarriage in October 2018. They were blessed with another daughter, Daisy, in 2022, and their son, Ezra, arrived in May 2023.

Ninth sibling Joy-Anna Duggar was born Oct. 28, 1997.

She had been friends with Austin Forsyth for fifteen years before he began courting her. Following this, there was no delay. He proposed in February 2017, and they got married on May 26, 2017, at Cross Church in Rogers, Arkansas – the church where Joseph popped the question to Kendra.

Joy-Anna and Austin had a son named Gideon Martin Forsyth on February 23, 2018, a daughter called Evelyn Mae Forsyth on August 21, 2020, and another son named Gunner James Forsyth on May 17, 2023.

Joy-Anna and Austin became parents to Gideon Martin Forsyth on February 23, 2018, Evelyn Mae Forsyth on August 21, 2020, and Gunner James Forsyth on May 17, 2023.

Or:

Gideon Martin Forsyth was born to Joy-Anna and Austin on February 23, 2018, followed by Evelyn Mae Forsyth on August 21, 2020, and then Gunner James Forsyth on May 17, 2023.

The twin boys, Jed Duggar and Jeremiah Duggar, who are Jim Bob and Michelle’s second set of twins, were born on December 30, 1998.

In the spring of 2021, Jed tied the knot with Katey Nakatsu, following a year of courtship. They have since become proud parents to a son named Truett, born in May 2022, and their daughter, Nora Kate, who arrived in June 2023.

In July 2024, Jed and Katey shared the exciting news of their upcoming twins, who were indeed born on January 8, 2025. Their beautiful daughters are named Elsie Kate and Emma Kate.

Jeremiah, a qualified flight instructor, is married to Hannah Wissmann (sister of Stephen, Jana’s husband), and the couple are proud parents to their daughter Brynley, who was born in December 2022, and Brielle, who joined the family in February 2024.

They announced in Decemeber 2024 that their third daughter is on the way.

No. 12 Jason Duggar was born on April 21, 2000.

Back in January 2017, the Daily Mail stated that Jim Bob aided Jase in purchasing a $33,000 property requiring repairs in Prairie Grove, Arkansas, which is approximately half an hour from the Duggar family’s main residence. As a result, he established his own construction business.

In May 2024, he made their relationship public on Instagram with Maddie Grace, and they got married the next October.

Charmed No. 13, James Duggar was born July 7, 2001.

I haven’t made my relationship status public with him just yet, but he’s got a heart full of love for his numerous nieces and nephews, always doting on them.

On his 19th birthday in 2019, mom Michelle wrote: “James is the beloved ‘fun uncle’ around here, and all the younger boys admire him and aspire to emulate him!” This Jack-of-all-trades has been tinkering with household appliances since he was a child. Even then, we would find James disassembling, understanding their inner workings, reassembling, and making some unique improvements!

This year, James dedicated himself tirelessly to earn his Commercial Driver’s License. Now, he’s mastered operating large trucks and complex machinery impressively! We’re eagerly looking forward to witnessing the remarkable journey that awaits him in the time to come, guided by God’s plan.

No. 14 Justin Duggar arrived on Nov. 15, 2002.

In September 2020, he announced his relationship with Claire Spivey to the public. They became engaged a month later in November and tied the knot on February 26, 2021.

With his elder sister Jill, Jim Bob and Michelle’s fifteenth child, Jackson Duggar, made his entry into the world on May 23, 2004.

On my 16th birthday, my mom, Michelle, commended me for my wit and mentioned how eager I seemed to finally earn my driver’s license.

Or,

Turning 16, my mom, Michelle, lauded my humor and expressed that she knew I couldn’t contain my excitement about getting my driver’s license.

Johannah Duggar was born on October 11, 2005, which is why a reality show centered around their family, titled “16 Kids and Growing Up Together“, was originally produced.

On her 15th birthday in 2020, Michelle wrote that her daughter is full of energy and enjoys meeting new people. Her younger siblings simply idolize her, believing she’s as bright as the moon itself. And Michelle couldn’t be more thankful to God for allowing her to be this child’s mother!

Jennifer Duggar arrived on Aug. 2, 2007, then the baby of the family.

Their TLC show that premiered Sept. 29, 2008, was christened 17 Kids and Counting.

Now, OMG, she’s a teenager.

Michelle penned that Jennifer is reliable, devoted, and simply delightful when her granddaughter turned 13. Adored by her nieces, nephews, who often cling to her because they don’t want her to let go, she’s equally dedicated to taking care of her beloved pets daily! Not too long ago, she even helped nurse a brood of seven baby bunnies back to health!

Here on the right, the penultimate Duggar child was born Dec. 18, 2008.

2019 found my mother labeling me as an outgoing soul, one who seems to effortlessly connect with everyone I meet. My laughter is often the beacon that illuminates our shared moments, making them all the more memorable.

Josie Duggar, seen here cradling her niece Meredith, was delivered on December 10th, 2009, three months too early and weighing a minimal 1 pound, 6 ounces. As a result, she needed to stay in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) for a total of six months.

Michelle penned on her child’s 11th birthday in 2020: “Josie is like a whirlwind of activity,” she said. “From sunrise to bedtime, she seldom takes a break!
