Dungeons of Hinterberg is Available Now on Xbox Series X/S and Game Pass

As a seasoned gamer with years of adventure under my belt, I’ve seen my fair share of dungeon-crawlers, but none quite like Microbird Games’ Dungeons of Hinterberg. The moment I laid eyes on those breathtaking Austrian Alps in the launch trailer, I knew this was going to be an unforgettable journey.

Microbird Games’ “Dungeons of Hinterberg,” an action-adventure game with dungeon-crawling elements set in the Austrian Alps, has been released on Xbox Series X/S and Game Pass. The PC version will soon follow. In the meantime, take a look at the launch trailer below for a sneak peek.

I’m utterly captivated by the tale that centers around Luisa’s journey. She embarks on an adventure to discover the wonders of a fictional tourist destination called Hinterberg. At first, the beginning seems daunting and challenging, but with determination, she presses on. Her goal is to delve into various dungeons and overcome their menacing obstacles. The landscape of Hinterberg is breathtakingly beautiful and presents an array of exploration methods. I can only imagine the thrill of gliding down snow-covered slopes on a snowboard or scaling towering mountains, all while uncovering the mysteries hidden within these dungeons.

As a gamer, I’d say: The dungeons certainly aren’t lacking in puzzles to figure out. Plus, engaging with the locals can unlock new abilities for Luisa. And let me tell you, with her repertoire including fire breath, a shower of projectiles, powerful beams, and a whirling attack, she’s got plenty of ways to handle combat situations.

As an avid gamer excited about “Dungeons of Hinterberg,” I’m thrilled to share that this game is now officially supported on Steam Deck!
