He also thinks that the messaging hits home, even if “even if you’re not part of Polynesian culture.”
He clarified, “The notion is that people often try to limit what they believe young girls can achieve, by molding them into specific roles. However, in the movie Moana 2, there’s a chance for them to become whatever they aspire to be.
