Robert Irwin has just met his first competitor.
Approximately a month following the announcement that Steve Irwin and Terri Irwin’s son would be the first celebrity dancer on Dancing With the Stars season 34, it has now been revealed that Alix Earle will also join as the second celeb to don dancing shoes.
On May 22nd, it was unveiled on Good Morning America where the influencer expressed her excitement about the opportunity they had been given.
She shared, “I’ve held a fondness for ‘Dancing with the Stars’ since way back. As a child, I’d watch it alongside my grandmother, who would often remark, ‘Perhaps someday, you might appear on that show.’
Speaking about herself, Alix, who had been a competitive dancer in high school, expressed her deep affection for dance. She mentioned that she felt prepared and excited for the upcoming challenge, stating that it would undoubtedly be enjoyable. Thus, when given the opportunity, saying ‘yes’ was an easy decision for her.
For Robert’s part, he had expressed that taking on the role feels “surreal.”
He shared with TopMob News in April that he’s absolutely thrilled to be part of “Dancing With the Stars” this season. The reality hasn’t fully set in yet, but he can’t wait to step onto the ballroom floor. Let’s get going, let’s make it happen. I may not have the best dance skills, but I’m determined to give it my all.
In his own words, “He emphasized any fresh endeavor should always revolve around our core theme – conservation and animal protection.
As a devoted admirer, I must confess that my enthusiasm for the voyage yet to come is deeply rooted in the memories of my cherished sister, Bindi Irwin’s triumphant season 21 victory. That glorious moment remains etched vividly in my memory.

And now it is Bindi who’s proud.
In a post on Instagram from April 22nd, Bindi put it this way: ‘Robert, you are destined to dazzle on the dance floor!’ She went on to say, ‘I wish I had words enough to convey how incredibly proud I am of you and all that you have accomplished.’
Without a doubt, Bindi, the winner of DWTS season 21 alongside professional partner Derek Hough, made it clear that she would accompany her brother in every phase of his journey.
She’s excited to support you every week, watching as you motivate countless others with your resilience, compassion, and tenacity. To your incredible voyage that lies ahead!

After years of being unavailable due to his commitments with the Backstreet Boys, Nick Carter finally had the opportunity to display his skills during season 21. He shares that producers had approached him for about 4 to 5 years straight, but he was always on tour or working on albums with the group. Now that they have a break, he is seizing the moment to participate in this project.
As a lifestyle expert, I can say that Bindi Irwin, the popular Australian TV personality and daughter of the legendary Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin, graced us with her presence in season 21. Interestingly enough, this wasn’t her first offer to dance on the show. In fact, she was taken aback when I had a chat with her about it. “Oh my goodness!” she exclaimed to TopMob News. “At that time, we were deep into our crocodile research expedition, and things were bustling around us. It turned out serendipitously that we could join this season, so I’m absolutely delighted to be a part of it.
Ever since my beloved daughter, Rumer Willis, triumphed in season 20 of DWTS with her encouraging mom by her side at almost every taping, I’ve been itching to step into the spotlight myself. Rumors swirled that I was all set to join the season 21 cast, according to TopMob News, but in the end, I chose to decline the offer. It wasn’t an easy decision, but for now, I’ll keep my dance shoes tucked away and continue cheering on Rumer from the sidelines.
Alfonso Ribeiro shared with TopMob News that the show was considering inviting the reality star from “I Am Cait” to compete for the trophy, but she declined the offer. Instead of joining the ranks set by Kim Kardashian and her brother Rob Kardashian on the show, she decided to choose a different path.
The Mean Girls star was reportedly approached to do the show back in season 16 but said no.
Previously, the debatable celebrity cook declined the opportunity to dance not once, but twice. However, he eventually agreed to join the team for season 21, as TopMob News previously announced.
“They did ask me,” she told Extra in 2010, “and I said no.”
Despite several of her former “Saved By the Bell” cast members participating in it, Thiessen chose not to take part in “Dancing with the Stars”. As she once told The Huffington Post, “I’ve been asked a few times, but my response is that I am an actor, not a dancer.
Paula Deen isn’t the only well-known chef who has been approached by “Dancing with the Stars,” but Flay also declined the offer. Previously, Deen had stated that she didn’t want to be recognized as the person on “Dancing with the Stars.” Another factor was his wife’s warning that she would divorce him if he participated. (However, they have since divorced.)
While sources told TopMob he said no to DWTS, he said yes to appearing on Celebrity Apprentice.
Initially turning down Dancing with the Stars, which later made her a beloved figure on the dance floor, the recently deceased actress admitted she was afraid, tweeting that she was “too timid” instead.
The host of CBS This Morning and Oprah Winfrey’s close friend declined the show not just once or twice, but three times. She explained to US Weekly that she prefers to limit her public embarrassment. “I wouldn’t want to put my children in an awkward position or embarrass myself,” she added, mentioning that she can’t dance.
The producers of DWTS reached out to Alfonso for a favor regarding the possibility of the NYPD Blue star participating in the show. Unfortunately, their attempt was unsuccessful as Ribeiro shared with TopMob News that his friend had declined due to not being fond of dancing.
The Oscar-winning actress has sworn off the show for good, but she hinted at a potential return under specific conditions. In an interview with TopMob News, she shared her thoughts on participating in Dancing With the Stars, stating, “Here’s how I would do Dancing With the Stars: If they donated a million dollars to charity on my behalf…” She would only agree if there was a substantial charitable aspect involved.
In 2011, Queen Latifah clarified that she wasn’t participating in “Dancing With the Stars,” but expressed her affection for the show and stated she would be watching it along with everyone else. Interestingly, she has indeed appeared as a guest performer on the show.
