Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union are putting the full court press on anyone dating their daughter.
Zaya Wade openly acknowledged that her esteemed parents take distinct strategies when offering guidance on her romantic entanglements.
In a conversation with Seventeen magazine, the 17-year-old shared, “They’re very understanding about it.” She added that she and her stepmother enjoy sharing secrets and keeping up with high school rumors. Her stepmother shows enthusiasm when the teenager expresses affection for someone.
Regarding Dwyane, who has both Zaya and Zaire, age 23, with his ex Siovaughn Funches, and is also a father to nephew Dahveon, 21, son Xavier, 11, from a past relationship, as well as their daughter Kaavia, 6 – it’s evident that he steps into a protective role when encountering one of Zaya’s dates.
