After several months, Dynasty Warriors: Origins successfully rekindled our trust in Koei Tecmo’s hack-and-slash series, and it’s delightful to notice that the game continues to receive new updates.
Update 1.005 is quite small, only a few hundred megabytes for download, but it comes with some nifty additional features.
Initially, you’ll find an advanced photography feature available for your exploration. With Origin’s impressive visuals, particularly during intense battles, this addition is sure to result in beautiful photographs.
To activate photo mode, just hit the pause button and tap the touchpad. Once you’re there, you have a variety of editing options available such as adjusting camera angle, zoom level, color balance, and applying filters.

In addition, this update provides an opportunity to don a fresh look for your character, inspired by the legendary Lion Dragon armor worn by Zhao Yun. You can change into it using the costume selection when you’re back at your operational base.
