As a die-hard fan of the Dynasty Warriors series, I can hardly contain my excitement as we approach ChinaJoy 2024! The fact that Omega Force’s newest addition to the franchise, Dynasty Warriors: Origins, will be making an appearance during Sony’s live broadcast is simply mind-blowing.
At ChinaJoy 2024, PlayStation will be present (take a look at their schedule), and it has been confirmed that Omega Force’s “Dynasty Warriors: Origins” will also make an appearance. As announced on the franchise’s official Twitter account, producer Tomohiko Sho is set to join Sony’s live broadcast to unveil fresh gameplay.
Despite being scheduled for 1 PM to 2 PM (presumably Japanese Standard Time), Sony has not announced a specific date for the broadcast yet. However, the livestream link is already available on BiliBili. With Dynasty Warriors: Origins, fans can expect the largest armies ever assembled in this new installment of the series. Set against the backdrop of the Three Kingdoms and their battles, players will once again engage in hack-and-slash gameplay while teaming up with allied troops.
For the first time in the series, players will take on the role of an unnamed protagonist. The specifics of their character and influence on the narrative, which may serve as a prequel to the primary games, are still undisclosed.
From July 26-29, 2024, ChinaJoy will take place. Look forward to Dynasty Warriors: Origins, set to release in 2025 on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. In the meantime, keep an eye out for more information.
