The much-anticipated EA Sports College Football 26 has arrived, featuring a return of intricate player customization within its career mode. Yet, it’s sometimes unclear exactly how to accumulate points for this personalization.
As a passionate gamer diving into EA Sports College Football 26, my mission is to rack up those Skill Points and boost my player’s abilities to the max!
Get The Best Start
To make the best use of your skill points, the process begins when you pick your character’s journey on the ‘Choose Your Path’ page. Athletes at the elite level receive the highest number of Skill Points, while those starting as an Underdog get the least.
Set A Weekly Agenda
The Weekly Agenda system outlines your athlete’s activities throughout the week, requiring careful planning to reap the most rewards using the allocated Energy. Training boosts Experience Points (XP) towards level advancement, and each new level grants Skill Points. However, overtraining can lead to increased Wear & Tear, negatively affecting performance and potentially causing injuries. Additionally, disregarding other aspects like Academics can impair your player’s progress.
Milestone completion also contributes XP towards the bar.
Perform Practice Drills
In the “Skill” section of the “Road To Glory Practice Hub”, exercising through drills can boost XP for your athlete, yet they rely on real-world performance. If a player’s performance in these drills is subpar, it could negatively impact their Coach Trust and future opportunities.
Undertake Challenges
As I hone my skills and put my talents into action every day, I encounter a mix of challenges across Daily, Seasonal, and Ultimate levels, each offering experience points that help me grow and level up!
Play Your Position
In simple terms, how well you perform in real matches directly affects your advancement. If you stick to your assigned role, you’ll gain experience points for fulfilling your responsibilities. Persistently disregarding them, however, can erode the Coach’s confidence in you and significantly slow down your progression.
Upgrading Player
In the fifth week of the Road to Glory journey, once your player has progressed to the college level, you’ll gain the ability to enhance your player.
In simpler terms, any Skill Points you’ve earned can be utilized to boost various ratings in the Upgrade Player menu within Road To Glory. These ratings contain specific attributes that depend on a player’s position, and although they can’t be adjusted independently, they can be enhanced by spending Skill Points to acquire higher values for the corresponding rating. For instance, you can raise a player’s Strength by adding Skill Points to the Power attribute, while Awareness is improved by enhancing IQ.
The higher the skill rating, the more it will cost you exponentially to gain additional Skill Points.
To maximize the number of Skill Points you can accrue in EA Sports College Football 26 and enhance your player, here’s a strategy to consider:
Play well in games, complete objectives, and participate in various activities within the game to earn as many Skill Points as possible. Utilize these points to improve and upgrade your player accordingly.
