Earth Defense Force 6 Has Sold Over 600,000 Units

As a devoted fan, I’ve been captivated by the Earth Defense Force series, which despite its modest budget and raw edges, consistently draws substantial crowds. This charm persists even now, as Earth Defense Force 6 made its Western debut last July, following its initial release in Japan a couple of years prior. Since then, it’s been holding its ground, selling steadily.

On Twitter, Sandlot and D3 Publisher have shared that Earth Defense Force 6 has surpassed 600,000 units in total sales worldwide, across all platforms. Compared to the 550,000 units sold in September, this represents an additional 50,000 units sold since then, bringing the total for their action-packed alien-fighting shooter game up to 600,000 units.

In our assessment of Earth Defense Force 6, we gave it a rating of 7 out of 10. We appreciated its action-packed combat, dynamic environmental destruction, and lighthearted style.
