Adjusting to the tranquil landscapes of Emerald Stairs, following the lively atmosphere of Dawnshore, feels more like a cultural jolt.

With a fresh map at hand, there are fresh opportunities for treasure hunts and side quests. Among them, one of the intriguing new treasure hunts is the Early Aegis treasure.

In this guide, I’ll outline where to find the Earthly Aegis Treasure Map, its exact location, and the prizes it offers for those in Avowed who prefer action over discovery.

The Earthly Aegis treasure map is the most well-hidden treasure map I have found so far.

Instead of obtaining the daunting Feline Codpiece map from a vendor as you would with traditional maps, the Earthly Aegis map can be discovered inside a chest within a house without any doors in the Naku Tedek Grounds.

To get to this house, let us start our journey from the party camp in Naku Tedek Grounds.

  1. Move to the south until you come across an area with tents.
  2. Proceed to the end of the path and look to your right. You will spot a hole in the house’s wall.
  3. Sprint onto the tree branch and jump into the hole in the wall.
  4. Inside the house, you will find a chest containing the Earthly Aegis treasure map.

Earthly Aegis Treasure Location

Let’s kick off our adventure right at Rock Arch Beacon, following the trail just as a treasure map would guide us to its location.

  1. From the Roch Arch Beacon, head north, up the hill until you reach the Plateau Junction Beacon. Beware of the enemies on the path.
  2. Once you have reached the beacon, continue onto the path going up the hill to your south.
  3. Upon reaching the top of the hill, you will spot a broad, destroyed building in front of you, which also looks like the decaying trunk of an ancient tree.
  4. Approach the house, and you will spot a tree root extending around the back of the house.
  5. Jump onto the root and keep moving until you reach its edge.
  6. Here, you will be able to see the coffin that contains the treasure and also a switch that you can interact with.
  7. Press the switch and the hidden door will open.
  8. Enter the house and collect the treasure.

Make sure you’re well-prepared and gather suitable allies, as the entire Delemgan Glade region is teeming with formidable foes.

Treasure Hunt Rewards

The reward for the Earthly Aegis treasure hunt is a Unique shield named Nature’s Ward.

This item has been enhanced to a superior quality level 2, offers the Spiked Brambles bonus that inflicts harm on your adversary when you block their melee strike, and comes with the Purging perk which grants a 50% probability of removing the Poisoning statue.

The benefits provided by this shield are extraordinarily handy, with the Purging perk being particularly useful. It’s quite frequent to acquire the Poisoning status in the Emerald Stair region, so having this perk can be very beneficial.
