In the recent episode of EastEnders, Aaron Thiara, known as Ravi Gulati, took a risky step, determinedly embarking on a mission to shield his teenager daughter Avani Nandra-Hart (Aaliyah James) from potential harm.
Earlier, Avani deceived her mother Priya (Sophie Khan Levy) by claiming she was romantically involved with friend Barney Mitchell (Lewis Bridgeman). However, Priya is unaware that Avani has actually been secretly seeing an 18-year-old named Mason. In fact, Priya suggested Avani should wait until she feels comfortable having sexual relationships, but she remains oblivious to this.
When the teenager sent a text to Mason saying she’d purchased some condoms, her brother, Davinder ‘Nugget’ Gulati (portrayed by Juhaim Rasul Choudhury), caught sight of it and reacted by confronting Avani, who attempted to silence him.
Upon realizing there seemed to be an issue, Ravi took Avani’s phone and asked Priya for assistance in opening it. They both had a heartwarming moment together before Ravi decided against prying into Avani’s phone.
Following the return of her phone, Avani arranged a meeting with Mason, who expressed a strong desire for intimacy in his vehicle.
Avani made it clear that she wasn’t ready to proceed just yet, but Mason forcefully ejected her from the car, causing her to have a swollen lip and bruised knees.
Ravi was shocked and distressed upon finding Avani looking so poorly. Given that Priya had informed him that Barney was Avani’s partner, Ravi approached him directly.
In a public setting, Barney confronted Ravi, leading Ravi to whisk him away to a different location. There, Ravi’s actions escalated into a shocking display as he suspended Barney precariously over the bridge that peered onto Walford market, causing both Barney and the local residents to tremble with fear.
