EastEnders has aired the long-awaited return of a missing character.
On Monday, the ongoing saga of character Reiss Colwell (portrayed by Jonny Freeman), aired on BBC One’s soap opera, focused on his efforts to free his fiancée Sonia Fowler (played by Natalie Cassidy) from charges related to the alleged murder of Reiss’ comatose wife Debbie Colwell. In the month of November 2024, Bianca uncovered CCTV footage that exposed Reiss’s deceit. However, he cunningly manipulated her into going to a storage facility and assaulted her, imprisoning her there. He stated his intention to keep her captive until Sonia was freed.
Ever since then, Reiss conveyed messages implying that Bianca left somewhere, and due to her volatile nature prior to leaving, few have inquired about her whereabouts. This situation has left fans speculating as to what might have happened to Bianca.
On Monday’s show, Reiss declined the offer of taking a taxi with Martin Fowler (James Bye) to Sonia’s trial. Instead, he chose to visit her personally in prison, where she was distressed.
Sonia was concerned if justice would prevail, so she implored Reiss to assist her and make certain that Bianca attended the trial.
Afterward, Sonia’s court case commenced, yet she felt disappointed as neither Reiss nor Bianca attended to stand by her.
Meanwhile, it quickly became clear that Reiss had visited the storage containment unit instead. There, viewers got a glimpse of a fatigued and gloomy Bianca, who was tethered to her environment and perched on a couch.
