EastEnders airs shock betrayal and new mystery for the Knights in early iPlayer release

Since it’s clear that Gina is the one who broke the window where mom Cindy Beale (played by Michelle Collins) was residing, everyone is now looking towards her to demonstrate beyond doubt that she wasn’t responsible for the Christmas Day assault as well.

Gina insisted that, although she threw the brick, she certainly did not physically harm her mother.

In simpler terms, Cindy and Ian Beale were informed by George (Colin Salmon), Gina’s father, and Anna (Molly Rainford), her sister, that Gina spent the night of Christmas with an unnamed man. However, Gina refused to disclose this person’s identity.

In a confidential chat with George, Gina shared that she was aware George hadn’t attended the clandestine brawl on that particular evening, contrary to his earlier assertions.

Gina hurled the brick at Cindy as a menacing signal, intending to divert the cops’ attention away from the Fords, who had been pursuing Cindy before.

Interestingly, George subsequently disclosed the details of his absence from the screen, prompting the father and daughter to have a deep conversation about their family’s struggles, as Cindy was missing for those years.

Ultimately, George convinced Gina she wasn’t required to shield him, however, since Ian was about to file a police report against Gina, Gina reached out to Cindy again to explain her side of the story.

While speaking openly with Freddie Slater (Bobby Brazier), Anna found solace in his presence. As they consoled each other, they exchanged a kiss, and Anna led Freddie to The Queen Vic.

Regrettably, I found myself delving deep into questioning Cindy’s friend, Gina, about her whereabouts to verify the details of her secret relationship, all in an effort to ensure my daughter’s innocence regarding the recent attack.

In due time, Gina broke down and admitted that she had indeed been intimate with Freddie – a revelation made as Anna entered along with Freddie himself!
