EastEnders character hints at revenge scheme in early iPlayer release

Since Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) has discovered that her former mother-in-law Kathy Cotton (Gillian Taylforth) attempted to harm her during Christmas, one can’t help but ponder about what the future holds for this trio.

Following Cindy firing a shot that hit Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) in the arm, she then shoved him towards the road where Reiss Colwell’s (Jonny Freeman) vehicle was moving.

This incident initiated a heartbreaking sequence of occurrences, culminating in the unfortunate demise of Ian’s cousin, Martin Fowler (played by James Bye), following the collision with The Queen Vic.

Ian told Cindy that he would keep her part in this quiet, if she didn’t expose Kathy’s crime.

In response to the given situation, Cindy straightforwardly admitted that Ian hadn’t fully met his obligations in their agreement – thus she assertively asked him to refund the amount that represented her portion from their joint business account.

Ian consented under the condition that Cindy vanished right away. Meanwhile, as Ian was lighting a candle for Martin at Beale’s Eels, Kathy, Peter Beale (Thomas Law), Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa) and the Knights showed up following an invitation from Cindy to join them.

As a movie buff putting it in my own words, here’s how I might rephrase that: Instead of spilling the beans about who attacked her, Cindy acted as if she was still on the lookout for the culprit among us. She expressed feelings of unease and announced her decision to take a break from this dangerous environment by staying with an old friend named Gita Kapoor (Shobu Kapoor).

The news didn’t stir anyone, yet Peter pledged to touch base with his mother upon the birth of his and Lauren’s child. Meanwhile, Ian advised Cindy to savor her wealth, as he savored whatever remnants of his own family remained.

At the subway station, Junior Knight, Cindy’s former partner (played by Micah Balfour), begged her to remain; however, Cindy disclosed that she was merely allowing Ian to believe he had escaped unscathed – temporarily.

What does this mean for Cindy’s return? Is a nasty revenge plot on the way?
