EastEnders’ Kathy: I Would Have Finished the Job

Discussing a hypothetical scenario, Gillian Taylforth ponders if the character Kathy Cotton might have attempted to harm Cindy Beale in the popular TV series “EastEnders.

Since Christmas Day, the BBC One soap opera has kept viewers guessing about “Who is responsible for attacking Cindy?” as nine potential culprits have emerged.

Among those suspected of assaulting Cindy is her longstanding adversary and ex-mother-in-law, Kathy (Gillian Taylforth).

According to Taylforth, “If Kathy had done it, she would have finished the job thoroughly. However, based on my understanding, I don’t believe it was Kathy who did it.

Well, that feels particularly convincing!

Viewers are eagerly anticipating the revelation of who assaulted Cindy, as the answer to this puzzle unfolds in the upcoming episodes during the series’ 40th anniversary celebration.

Recently, spectators have noticed Kathy’s fiery temperament becoming more prominent – especially evident in the instance where she defended her family by threatening the chatty Mo Harris (played by Laila Morse).

When asked about Kathy’s character displaying similarities to Lou Beale, the original matriarch from EastEnders, played by Anna Wing, Taylforth replied: “I feel a strong resemblance to Lou Beale. Indeed, I do.

Among all of us, dating back to the early days, Kathy was the one who confronted Lou Beale. Over time, it seems their relationship is evolving in a similar manner. I believe she may be following in Lou Beale’s footsteps.

Polish that matriarch crown, Kathy!
