In a private conversation with TopMob, Collins pondered, “I believe it might truly be [David]. It seems to me that it could well be either him or George.

As a movie-goer, I’d put it this way: “Deep down, I believe that the pain inflicted by David Wicks left an indelible mark on her. When someone causes such deep wounds, it seems to alter something fundamental about who they are.

In her writings, she refers to George as the one she has always loved deeply. However, when David reappeared, she found herself opening up emotionally to him. It seems like she can’t decide between these two men. I have a feeling that it might be George; I think it’s too late for David now.

Even though there were other factors at play, it was clear that there was strong chemistry between David and Cindy when he came back last year. It couldn’t be denied.

15 years back, before meeting George, I would have picked David as my favorite. But my feelings for Ian are not the same; they represent more of a comfort zone or a sense of security rather than true love.
