4 EastEnders spoilers next week
1. Lauren Branning splits with Peter Beale amid relapse drama

It’s tense between Lauren and Peter as he continues to struggle with baby Jimmy’s diagnosis.
In the heart of the bustling square, I found myself surrounded by warm greetings and well-meaning individuals, leaving me feeling somewhat smothered. I turned to Peter, hoping to share this moment with him, but his dismissive gestures fell upon my pleading eyes like gentle rain on a parched land, failing to quench the longing within me.
In a collaboration, Cindy and Kathy Cotton (played by Gillian Taylforth) team up to offer aid, however, it isn’t long before Peter points the finger at Lauren for causing Jimmy’s blindness.
In a challenging situation, former alcoholic Lauren finds herself at The Queen Vic and Harry’s Barn, seeking a drink. However, her request is denied by Linda Carter (played by Kellie Bright) and Gina Knight (portrayed by Francesca Henry).

Later on, Peter makes an effort to connect with Jimmy following Cindy’s advice. However, when Lauren comes home late and tries to talk to Peter, he ignores her and leaves for a hospital visit with Jimmy instead.
Lauren shares Jimmy’s medical update with Honey Mitchell (Emma Barton), while Peter finds comfort in a conversation with another patient, returning home feeling optimistic.
However, once Peter learns that Lauren was close to slipping up again, he decides to end their relationship and declares his intention to battle for the custody of Jimmy and their elder son, Louie (played by Jake McNally).

On the following day, Kathy convinces Peter to reconcile with Lauren, and they manage to set aside their disagreements.
However, Peter quickly discerns that Lauren has been keeping secrets, prompting him to seek counsel on child custody matters from Johnny Carter (Charlie Suff).
Honey overhears and tells Lauren, who officially ends her relationship with Peter.
Is this really the end, or will Peter regret his behaviour? And what is Lauren hiding?
Anyone affected by Jimmy’s story can visit RNIB for support and information.
2. Alfie Moon and Kat Slater get engaged – but more trouble looms

Next week, Harvey Monroe (played by Ross Boatman) will attempt to reconcile with an upset Kat, following his failure to secure funds for a limousine purchase from an acquaintance, as his new associate Kathy is unable to provide the necessary finances.
Initially, I attempt to entice a few of Kat’s taxi drivers into investing in my fresh venture, hoping to expand my reach. However, her swift actions thwart my attempts. Later on, Nicola Mitchell (Laura Doddington) offers me some valuable guidance, and I extend an invitation for Kat to join me as a business partner.
Kat opts against joining the existing limousine service and chooses to launch her own venture instead. She consults with Cheeky regarding purchasing a limo, but upon being asked to make a higher bid, she seeks early financial assistance from her ex-husband Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) by requesting an advance on their impending divorce settlement.

Signing a deal, Cheeky tells Kat she must take on his silent partner.
Later on, Alfie arranges a staged wedding photoshoot as part of marketing his new venture. He confides in Linda that he intends to re-propose to Kat.
In their apartment, Alfie proposes to Kat, and she happily agrees! Without delay, the couple celebrates their engagement by hosting a combined bachelorette and bachelor party. Kim Fox (played by Tameka Empson) brings joy to Kat with a ‘Hag’ themed event.
Almost everything appears to be going smoothly, but then it seems like the day takes an unexpected turn for the worse. This changes when Kat uncovers a concerning issue on the household computer, leading her to suspect Alfie might be involved.

What has Kat found, and is Alfie to blame?
Well, we can’t help but make a different connection here, with a certain teenage newcomer…
3. Barney Mitchell pushes Avani Nandra-Hart away after the previous week

After last week’s occurrences, Avani Nandra-Hart (formerly Aaliyah James) endeavors to aid Barney Mitchell (Lewis Bridgeman) on Monday, yet he distances himself through a series of offensive remarks.
On the next day, recognizing his mistake in conduct, Barney attempts to contact Avani for an apology, only to be brushed off by both Avani and her strict guardian, Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan Levy).
Is it possible for Barney to mend things with Avani, and what challenges has he been facing lately?
4. Joel Marshall displays more toxic behaviour

Ever since the audience discovered his secret, Joel’s character seems to be growing increasingly malevolent each week, and his influence becomes more detrimental in the scenes that follow.
Joel antagonizes Avani when he attempts to embarrass her. However, his malicious tactics don’t work on Avani, as she outsmarts him. Regrettably, this doesn’t prevent Joel from behaving inappropriately in other situations.
Tommy Moon (played by Sonny Kendall) is seething with anger as his mother Kat brings in Amy Mitchell (portrayed by Ellie Dadd) to look after him. The arrival of Joel only adds to the awkwardness when Amy scolds him for his behavior towards Avani.

But later, Joel encourages Tommy to use Alfie’s credit card to watch adult videos online.
Is this the source of Kat’s shocking finding?
And will any of the parents catch Joel out before Tommy’s behaviour spirals beyond help?
5. George Knight helps Cindy Beale behind Elaine Knight’s back

George extends a hand to Cindy, collaborating on a strategy to win over the family again. However, it’s evident that Elaine feels envious about George’s involvement with Cindy.
In a twist of events, Cindy is gearing up for the reopening of The Albert, only to find out that George informs her that Gina and Anna, their daughters, will not be present for the event. (Molly Rainford)
In the story, Matthew James Morrison’s character, Felix Baker, along with Bobby Brazier’s character, Freddie Slater, team up with Cindy to boost ticket sales. However, a disagreement ensues between Cindy and Elaine.

George steps in, and Elaine elects to organize a karaoke event on the day of the relaunch as a means to tease Cindy.
Trouble arises for Cindy when her bar staff decide to leave due to unpaid wages, but Kojo Asare (Dayo Koleosho) steps in to lend a hand.
In this situation, it’s George who takes action, leaving Gina astonished as she watches her father assisting her mother. However, upon noticing the effort that Cindy is putting in, Gina decides to pitch in and offer her help.
While Freddie and Felix rejoice over Cindy’s setbacks with Elaine, unfortunately, The Vic’s karaoke night turns out to be a disappointment. To make matters worse for Elaine, she learns that Cindy’s party, which they thought was a failure, ended up being successful instead.

At the party, Elaine intends to irritate Cindy, however, Cindy seizes the opportunity to disclose that George had aided her and had also hired extra help!
Before leaving for the liquor shop, Elaine creates quite a commotion. George attempts to calm her down, but her persistent negative comments cause him to leave. He then goes back to The Albert to celebrate and express his apologies for Elaine’s inappropriate behavior.
Will George’s sudden alliance with Cindy lead to the end of his marriage?
