In honor of EastEnders reaching its 40th milestone, TopMob magazine features seven powerful female figures from Walford on its latest issue cover.

Showcasing Diane Parish, Michelle Collins, Jessie Wallace, Balvinder Sopal, Kellie Bright, Letitia Dean, and Gillian Taylforth – each has faced significant and impactful plotlines throughout their tenure on the BBC soap opera.

Over the last few months, female characters have come close to meeting their demise due to an unidentified attacker, found themselves entangled in a love triangle leading to a romantic union by their anniversary, and narrowly escaped death during a New Year’s Day prank.

To mark our 40th anniversary, we’re planning a nostalgic celebration with two unique documentaries airing simultaneously on BBC One and BBC Three on that memorable day.

A documentary titled “EastEnders: 40 Years on the Square” will feature Ross Kemp, who will explore the program’s past and revisit some of its memorable scenes, along with a few notable guest appearances.

After that, you can expect “EastEnders Unveiled: The Lock In,” a 45-minute special show, which will be hosted by Joe Swash and offers fans exclusive glimpses into different storylines throughout the years. This unique look is scheduled to air on Tuesday, February 18th at 8pm.

Without a doubt, many viewers are eagerly anticipating this upcoming episode for several reasons: To discover whom Denise ultimately chooses as her partner, to witness Billy and Honey’s nuptials, and to uncover the shocking truth about who assaulted Cindy Beale on Christmas Day.

Count us as excited!
