Eat the Rich launches July 23 for PC, later for PS5, Xbox Series, iOS, and Android

The social deception game titled “Eat the Rich,” which is set in a post-apocalyptic capitalist society, will debut on PC (Steam and Epic Games Store) on July 23rd. Subsequent releases are planned for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, iOS, and Android at undisclosed future dates. This announcement comes from the publishers Monstronauts and developers Maccima Games.

Allen Tan, CEO of Monstrnauts, stated in a press release that everyone deserves a way to challenge the wealthy. He expressed hope that this dose of disorder will provide some relief during times when the underprivileged are often exploited by certain individuals. More upheaval involving powerful figures is on the horizon, and we’re eager to reveal it soon!

Instead of adoring billionaires, it seems everyone’s fascinated by them! That’s why we’ve arranged a game show for them where they compete TO SAVE THEIR LIVES! Engage online with 6-10 participants in this lively social gathering game, as you battle against one another to discover who has amassed the most Coins by the end.

In response to the rampant avarice of the wealthy elite, who have brought about society’s downfall, the common people, seeking justice (in place of an execution device like the guillotine), have compelled the billionaires to participate in a lethal, carnival-themed game show known as “Feast on the Rich.” In this grueling competition, billionaires engage in brutal confrontations within a vivid recreation of societal struggle—without their accumulated fortunes passed down through generations!

As punished billionaires, players compete for pennies and other advantages over multiple rounds.

Players vote each other out of the game until only 3 remain.

The last player standing with the most Pennies then wins the game.

Brawl

In this game show, participants are encouraged to engage in intense physical confrontations, which is a severe offense in reality. They can utilize an assortment of objects and weapons such as guns, to gain advantageous positions on the map. Be cautious with your hard-earned money, as other players can snatch it from you swiftly!

Networking and Elimination

Make friends, frenemies, foes—whatever you call them—to get a leg up in the competition!

  • Be aggressive and create alliances with other players to vote out the one who you think has the most Pennies
  • Gather intel for your alliances to know who has the most Pennies and items.
  • Manipulate the competition—sway the votes or use Advantage items to rig the game show.
