Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence’s children are officially partners for life. 

Eric Murphy, Eddie’s former partner with ex-spouse Paulette McNeely, and Jasmin Lawrence, Martin’s daughter from his relationship with Patricia Southall, have recently secretly got married around two weeks ago. This news was disclosed by the star of Dreamgirls on May 29.

During an interview on The Jennifer Hudson Show, Eddie mentioned that everyone was busy planning their grand wedding, but eventually, they opted for a more intimate ceremony, just the two of them.

Eddie also joked that Martin doesn’t have to “pay for the wedding now.”

The quiet wedding ceremony of the couple was a follow-up to their romantic proposal lit by candles in November 2024. On that memorable day, Eric, aged 35, knelt before Jasmin, who was 29, in a room filled with candles, white roses, and an enormous red heart.

In an Instagram post on November 30th, Martin’s oldest child joyfully announced their engagement, expressing gratitude for the divine love they have found and excitement for the upcoming journey.
