How To Open the Castle Gate in Elden Ring Nightreign

In my gaming adventure, to unlock the grand Castle’s gates, I must first conquer the formidable foe residing in its subterranean depths. This rule remains consistent throughout my journey, yet tread with caution as the basement’s boss is no pushover, particularly if encountered on the game’s very first day.

To get to the basement, begin in the south of the map and travel along the river running below the Castle. This route will eventually lead you to a cluster of ruined servers where you’ll discover the jellyfish. After passing by the glowing Boost Rune Acquisition tree, look towards your left to find an entrance that leads directly to the Castle’s basement.

Keep walking on the path, then take a left to find the room housing the boss. Overpower the boss to unlock the door veiled in fog that lies behind it. In the ensuing chamber, ascend the stack of cages to get to the upper level and proceed through the door on the left side. This will guide you to the room containing a silvery treasure chest.
