Elden Ring Nightreign? The Duskbloods? Who needs them, now that Dark Souls’ seamless co-op mod is here

Instead of proceeding with your Elden Ring Nightreign pre-order or rushing to buy a Switch 2 for The Duskbloods launch, consider revisiting the original Dark Souls. This week, an exceptional modder named Yui unveiled a seamless co-op mod for Dark Souls Remastered. With this mod, you can play the game in online co-op with very few interruptions.

Yui demonstrated the functionality of the mod in a video posted on her YouTube channel, and it appears to be functioning as advertised. However, she mentioned that this is an initial version of the mod, so there could potentially be some glitches. While they should be minimal, she requested that viewers notify her if any issues arise during usage.

Fortunately, the mod appears to be functioning well, making it the preferred choice if you find the typical cooperative play of Souls games less appealing.

This mod is fantastic since it allows for multiplayer gaming with up to five individuals, and your advancement will be saved within your version of the game regardless of whether or not you’re hosting. Unlike the original game, the enemy difficulty adjusts based on the number of players involved, making the experience more challenging.
