In four days, Elden Ring Nightreign will be here, and we’ve caught a glimpse of one of the brand-new bosses you can battle alongside your friends. As part of the Redbull Lancation event, FextraLife united Mikka, Elajjaz, and Cas from Team Nordic to confront the terrors that the game presents.

In our encounter with various foes and leaders, we caught a glimpse of Caligo, the Night’s Taint, a colossal dragon. This beast can unleash icy blasts from afar, strike enemies with its powerful tail, and manipulate weather conditions to create challenges for your three-member team. Remarkably, Team Nordic overcame this boss in their initial attempt, thanks to some impressive teamwork.

New Location And Bosses Revealed For Elden Ring Nightreign

The stream revealed the Fog Fissure dungeon, teeming with fearsome adversaries, yet these proved no challenge for the trio. But make no mistake, this is expert-level gameplay, meaning it’s deceptively difficult. As Team Nordic advanced through the dungeon, they stumbled upon a foreboding cliff door. Just as anticipated, Caligo, the Miasma of Night, was stationed within.

The battle was impressive, as each participant played their part flawlessly, demonstrating that even the most demanding leaders can be easily managed when you understand collaboration and coordination in Elden Ring Nightreign. With wide-area attacks and quick agility, Caligo could attack any of them at a moment’s notice. However, the team was well-prepared to handle such situations.

It’s clear that Elden Ring: Nightreign is designed for a team of three players. Although you can play alone, there’s no option for two-player teams in this game. Some fans feel that this was an oversight by the developers, as they may have overlooked the duos mode while focusing on other aspects. However, director Junya Ishizaki has stated that a duos mode will be added after the game’s release. If you don’t have two friends to play with, the game will automatically pair you with another player.
