Title Update for Elden Ring: Nightreign has been released, albeit not as extensive as some players might hope. However, it’s a valuable update filled with bug fixes that are worth noting. Particularly for those who have encountered issues where, after being defeated by a Nightlord, respawning, and then instantly dying again.
Furthermore, there’s a minor adjustment that takes it a step further to promote wielding of weapons imbued with madness, an addition I believe would complement your loose pants well.
According to the Version 1.01.3 notes, FromSoft has been using Carian code cutlasses to try and eliminate game bugs, and one adjustment they made is to boost the probability of you acquiring weapons that have a madness status affliction. In other words, if you haven’t had a chance to unleash chaos everywhere, now might be the perfect time!
Exploring the bug corrections, one involves an issue where players might lose a battle following revival from near-death against Nightlords or other Night bosses. Based on Reddit discussions, this problem was equally annoying as it seems, with one player labeling it a “covert battle,” and another comparing it to psychological terror. A covert battle in a FromSoft game that I’m not figuring out by watching a streamer beat it using a dance pad – sounds intriguing!
They fix issues such as the Demon Merchant appearing close to Night’s Tide during the Demon Merchant curse event, the incorrect damage caused to certain enemies when using Ironeye’s “Marking” skill for headshots, and players being able to block lightning damage while under the influence of Bolt of Gransax’s passive effect, Power of the Great Ancient Dragon.
In addition to their other changes, FromSoft has included “team details” in the game’s credits, a nice touch. Before diving into the comprehensive notes, I’d like to highlight a Steam-specific improvement that might be useful for you. It’s designed to prevent the game from freezing temporarily or for an extended time in certain settings on PC.
If you haven’t tried Nightreign yet, be sure to read Nic’s review about it and learn what FromSoft has confirmed will be added to it in the future.
