As a passionate movie enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that Ellen Pompeo is gracing our screens in the new series “Good American Family”. However, this doesn’t imply that I’ll be abandoning the much-loved world of “Grey’s Anatomy” behind. Instead, it seems like a beautiful blend of both worlds is on the horizon!
Quite the contrary, in fact. Although the actress took a break from regular appearances on the medical procedural in 2019, she’s remained connected to the show in various ways ever since its premiere, and it appears this connection may persist for quite a while.
I’m deeply appreciative of the 21-season journey on this show, which holds a unique place in my heart. The show itself and the affection shown by the fans are equally precious. Consequently, I make an effort to focus on the current moment.

Pompeo added: “I’m unsure about what lies ahead, but I understand everyone’s desire for my continued involvement, and I’m grateful for it.
I’m delighted to enjoy the freedom to immerse myself and then step away while grabbing chances for new experiences and nurturing my creativity, all while remaining connected. It’s truly just an honor.
In this upcoming production, the esteemed American family drama features Jeremiah Johnson (Pompeo) sharing the screen with renowned actor Mark Duplass. Their characters portray a pair of individuals adopting a young girl who has an uncommon type of dwarfism.
Initially, I found myself intrigued by the enigmatic child adopted into this family of four, but as days turned into weeks, a sense of unease started to creep in. The more time we spent together, the more questions arose about her age and origins. Suspicions grew that this innocent-looking soul might not be who she claimed to be at all.
The hit show “Good American Family” is set to debut in the United States on Hulu on March 19th, while viewers in the UK and internationally can catch it from April 9th, both on Disney Plus.
