Elon Musk’s father Errol Musk has some harsh words about his son’s family dynamics.

This change in family dynamics resulted in a larger need for caregivers to handle their shared 21-year-old twins, Griffin and Vivian—with Vivian being transgender—as well as their triplets Kai, Saxon, and Damian, who are all 19 years old. Unfortunately, they also had a late son named Nevada, who passed away in 2002 due to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.
In the year 2008, when they went through their divorce, there were six nannies on one side and six on the other,” Errol recalled. “It was quite an unusual circumstance.
Since then, I’ve been blessed with a family that has grown significantly. I’m proud to be the father of X Æ A-Xii, who is now 4 years old, Exa Dark Sideræl, who turns 3 soon, and Techno Mechanicus, who just turned 20 months old. I also have twins, Azure and Strider, both 2 years old, with my former partner. In June 2024, I welcomed a new addition to our family with Shivon Zilis.
Furthermore, Errol mentioned that he doesn’t get to spend “much time” with his grandkids, but he always has positive things to say about the times they do spend together.
“They were very nice,” he recalled, “and smart and very pleasant.”
Two days following the interview’s publication, Ashley St. Clair revealed on X, a social media platform Elon acquired in 2022, that she had given birth to the presidential advisor’s thirteenth child five months earlier. She claimed they chose to keep the news confidential initially to ensure the privacy and safety of their child.
Immediately following this, my representative Brian Glicklich shared that Ashley and I have quietly been developing an understanding regarding the upbringing of our child for quite some time now. He encouraged Elon to join us in confirming this publicly.
The representative stated on February 15th that we are hoping for Elon to officially confirm his parental relationship with Ashley, to put an end to unnecessary conjecture. Ashley believes that Elon plans to finalize their arrangement promptly, with the child’s wellbeing and security in mind.

Maye was born in Saskatchewan, Canada but relocated with her parents to Pretoria, South Africa in 1950 when she was only 7 years old. She parted ways with Errol Musk, Elon’s father, in 1979.

Being a follower of the Musk family saga, I was intrigued to learn that Elon’s father, Errol, like him, hails from South Africa and shares the profession of engineering. However, their relationship, as portrayed in various interviews, is not without its complexities.
In a 2015 interview with Forbes, Errol shared fond memories of taking his children on global adventures, stating, “Their mother and I split up when they were quite young and the kids stayed with me. I took them all over the world.” Yet, the bond between Errol and Elon is not as idyllic as this might suggest.
In a 2017 interview with Rolling Stone, Elon expressed his feelings about his father candidly, stating that living with him after their parents’ divorce was “not a good idea.” Contrarily, Errol responded to Rolling Stone, expressing his love for his children and his readiness to do anything for them.
Following his divorce from Maye, Errol wed Heide, who had a 4-year-old daughter named Jana Bezuidenhout at the time. Errol and Heide went on to have two daughters together before their relationship also ended.
Years later, following her own breakup, Jana reached out to Errol. In a 2018 interview with The Sunday Times, Errol described their reunion as a serendipitous connection, “One thing led to another—you can call it God’s plan or nature’s plan.”
This newfound romance resulted in the birth of son Elliott in 2017 and a baby girl in 2019. Speaking to The Sun, Errol expressed his desire for more children, stating, “The only thing we are on Earth for is to reproduce. If I could have another child I would. I can’t see any reason not to.

Justine said she dismissed this comment at the time, just as she would later dismiss signing the prenuptial agreement. However, over time, she realized he was being sincere.

According to the book, it was mentioned that the up-and-down pair, who are in a relationship, had their child named Techno Mechanicus, often referred to as Tau, around Father’s Day 2022. This child was brought into the world through a surrogate mother. The biography contains a picture from June 2022 showing Elon feeding his newborn son.
