It appears that The Embracer Group, always bustling with activity, has shared details about their upcoming fiscal year’s strategies, and it seems as though things will stay quite lively.
From April 2025 to March 2026, the company intends to launch a variety of games, ranging from big-budget AAA productions to more modest projects.
As a devoted fan, I can share that CEO Lars Wingefors has hinted at a quieter first quarter ahead, with minimal significant new game launches on the horizon. Instead, it seems we’re in store for an exciting flurry of releases towards the latter half of 2025 and extending into early 2026.
Among the 76 titles are Metal Eden, a remake of Gothic 1, Reanimal, Wreckreation, the upcoming SpongeBob SquarePants game, NORSE: Oath of Blood, along with several others that have yet to be disclosed.
Additionally mentioned in the announcement were two upcoming games: Killing Floor 3, rescheduled for a future release, and Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra, slated to debut in early 2026.
Additionally, it’s worth noting that Embracer Group is undergoing a change in its corporate structure. Specifically, Coffee Stain Group, which primarily handles smaller-scale releases within the company, is set to break away and operate independently as a separate entity by the end of 2025.
Furthermore, when this event transpires, Embracer Group’s Middle-earth Enterprises & Friends consortium – the high-tier division of their operations – will undergo a significant name change to the far more appealing and welcoming moniker, Fellowship Entertainment.
Currently, Embracer Group is quite active, as numerous games are being developed and their organizational changes are still underway.
Are you looking forward to discovering numerous games in the upcoming months, perhaps even years? Let’s chat about it in the comments!
