Emilie Team Compositions

As a seasoned Teyvat traveler with years of combat experience under my belt, let me tell you about my latest find – the 5-star Dendro Polearm character, Emilie. This Sub-DPS is a game-changer, especially when it comes to team compositions!

Emilie is a 5-star Dendro Polearm character that primarily plays the role of a Sub-DPS.

Here you’ll discover a variety of popular team configurations and their suggested builds. Additionally, you’ll find advice on optimal team movement strategies!

Melt

Emilie’s reliable use of Dendro in Dendro application builds a sturdy base for triggering the Burn effect upon the introduction of Pyro, paving the way for an impressive Melt reaction when paired with Cryo. Here’s an example of a Melt team composition: Wriothesley serves as the Main DPS, Emilie and Xiangling act as Sub-DPS, while Bennett assumes the role of Healer.

Alternate Melt teams could have a composition of:

  • GanyuEmilieXianglingBennett
  • KaeyaEmilieXianglingBennett

Mono Pyro

The Mono Pyro squad aims to amplify Pyro Damage by having multiple Pyro characters in their team, a situation known as Pyro Resonance. When more than two Pyro characters are present, the character’s Attack is boosted by 25%. Here’s an example of a Mono Pyro team comprising Arlecchino as the primary DPS, with Emilie and Xiangling serving as sub-DPS, and Bennett acting as the healer.

Alternate Mono Pyro teams could have a composition of:

Burgeon

In order for Burgeon to take place, Hydro and Dendro elements should interact to generate Dendro Cores. These cores subsequently detonate when Pyro is introduced, inflicting wide-area damage that can be substantial. Characters like a shield or healer enhance the durability of such teams since they can absorb harm from the exploding Dendro Cores. Here’s an example of a Burgeon team featuring Emilie as the primary DPS, Furina as the secondary DPS, Bennett as the support, and Baizhu as the healer.

Alternate Burgeon teams could have a composition of:

In this Burgeon team setup, Neuvillette serves as the primary Damage Per Second (DPS) character. Emilie and Xiangling take on supporting roles as secondary DPS. Meanwhile, Zhongli takes care of shielding the team.

Burn

As a gamer, I’ve been experimenting with a Burn team strategy that’s been quite effective. The core of this team is the combination of Dendro and Pyro elements to trigger the Burn reaction. My Anemo character, usually Crown Control type, helps round up enemies for easier application of the Burn effect and boosts Elemental Mastery, which amplifies the damage of those reactions. Here’s a composition I’ve been using: Emilie as my Main DPS, Xiangling as Sub DPS, Sucrose serving as Support, and Bennett acting as Healer. This team setup has proven to be quite potent in my gaming sessions.

Bloom

In Emilie’s main setup, she is geared towards Burn teams based on her character type. However, being a Dendro character, Emilie can also be effectively used in a Bloom team composition. The optimal Bloom teams often feature Nilou because of her capability to generate Bountiful Cores, which are stronger than regular Dendro Cores. Here is an example of a Bloom team with Nilou as the Main DPS, Nahida and Emilie as Sub DPS, and Kokomi serving as the Healer.

Alternate Bloom teams could have a composition of:

  • NilouAyatoEmilieBaizhu
  • AlhaithamNilouEmilieKokomi / Barbara
