As a seasoned gamer with decades of detective games under my belt, I can hardly contain my excitement for the upcoming release of “Emio – The Smiling Man: Famicom Detective Club“! Having grown up solving mysteries and piecing together clues in various game worlds, I’ve become somewhat of a connoisseur of this genre.

The end of the Famicom Detective Club series is approaching, as Utsugi Detective Agency delves into the legend of Emio, the Smiling Man. For those eager to dive in early, Nintendo has scheduled a free demo for launch on August 19th at 6 PM Pacific Time.

The demonstration version of the game will feature both the Prologue and the first chapter. However, there’s more to come! Additional chapters will be added in upcoming updates. Here are the release dates for the subsequent chapters: “Disappearance” on August 22nd, followed by “The Language of Flowers” on August 27th. What’s even better is that any progress you make during the demo will carry over when the game officially launches.

On August 29th, you can get your hands on “Emio – The Smiling Man: Famicom Detective Club” for Nintendo Switch, priced at $49.99. This game revolves around Emio, a man with a paper bag mask bearing a chilling grin, who is responsible for the murders of weeping girls.
