Emmerdale OFF Tonight?! Here’s Why…

Emmerdale has been temporarily removed from the broadcast schedule, making way for football broadcasts on ITV.

During the sports-filled summer season, it’s common for soap operas and other television shows to get rescheduled because they are pushed back by the priority given to live sports broadcasts.

On Tuesday, 10th June, there will be no standard episode of the soap opera, Emmerdale, airing tonight because England versus Senegal match is being broadcast on ITV1 instead. The match starts at 7pm and ends at 10:05pm, leaving no time for Emmerdale to be shown.

The good news is, the soap returns to your screens tomorrow (11th June) at 7:30pm with a 30-minute episode. On Thursday (12th June), it will be followed by a one-hour episode and then another 30-minute episode on Friday (13th June).

Episodes will be available to watch on ITVX from 7am each day too.

More excitement looms in the village, with murder suspect John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) working diligently to safeguard both himself and Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley). The police are intensely investigating the death of Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter), creating a tense atmosphere.

In the near future, attention shifts towards Tracy Robinson (Amy Walsh). However, as tension escalates, whether she can clear her name and disprove their suspicions remains to be seen with the passing of time.

In other locations, Kammy Hadiq (alias Shebz Miah) takes advantage of assisting Vinny Dingle (played by Bradley Johnson), and Bear Wolf (Joshua Richards) jeopardizes granddaughter Eve Dingle (Bella James) gravely. Meanwhile, Eric Pollard (portrayed by Chris Chittell) takes a surprising step concerning his future.

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1. Stream on ITVX.
