Emmerdale stars tease tragedy as Moira and Ruby face barn fire horror

As a seasoned Emmerdale enthusiast with a soft spot for the Dingle family and their entangled lives, I find myself eagerly awaiting the upcoming drama that seems to be brewing between Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) and Ruby Fox-Miligan (Beth Cordingly). The hint of tragedy in the barn fire incident has me on the edge of my seat, as I’ve grown quite attached to these characters over the years.

Natalie J Robb and Beth Cordingly have suggested that a tragic event may occur on Emmerdale, as a blaze ignites in the barn, trapping their characters, Moira Dingle and Ruby Fox-Miligan, inside.

Recently, Moira’s actions have become unusual, causing her usual adversary, Ruby, to express worry when she no longer manages to provoke Moira with her clever insults at the right moments.

According to Cordingly, she’s not one for lengthy discussions, and things unfold rapidly. To start off, Moira fires the gun…

Picking up the story, Robb added: “It hits the light, which sends sparks flying, obviously.”

“The oil had spread across the floor because she was in a confused state, causing it to drip onto her hands,” concluded Cordingly.

After that, I tried to grab the gun from her. There was a brief struggle, and I ended up getting hit by the gun and losing consciousness.

At this moment, the fire is burning fiercely. And Robb cautioned, “An explosion may occur, and it’s uncertain if everyone will be able to escape from the blast.”

Next week, you’ll need to tune in to discover if Moira and Ruby manage to evade their current situation. However, both actresses enjoyed the thrilling process of filming this intense scene immensely. In fact, Cordingly described the episodes as a “really cool experience for everyone – the crew found it exhilarating, it was exciting.”

Whenever the stunt scenes were being filmed, we’d gather as a group to witness the stunt performers showcasing their incredible feats. It was truly an awe-inspiring moment.

“Robb concurred, admitting he experienced a sense of withdrawal once they were off the starting line. He shared his feelings with Beth, saying, ‘It feels strange that it’s over!’ They are all enjoying a pleasant camaraderie in their cozy living space.”

She’s confident that menopause plays a role, but what’s causing concern is her unusual reactions, such as various outbursts of anger. At the moment, she finds it difficult to keep her temper in check.

“She’s also taking small sips, and it’s unclear if this is influencing her state further, but it seems she’s not consuming as heavily as viewers might assume. This could lead to some intriguing developments.”

As a movie enthusiast, I must say I found it quite captivating revisiting Moira’s supposed murder of Emma Barton. At first, I had my doubts when I heard about it, but seeing it play out on screen has definitely eased those concerns. It’s been executed exceptionally well!

David Beecham is an exceptional director, and that particular week’s team was simply outstanding. It was truly a remarkable week for filming.

“The special effects team and everything else were handled meticulously, creating a very optimistic atmosphere. I truly believe this project will succeed.”

“I know this might seem unusual to everyone, but based on the complexity and events unfolding, everything should become clear. Though I haven’t personally witnessed it yet, I’ve heard it looks impressive.”

Regarding the possibility of a friendship between Moira and Ruby, Cordingly expressed his optimism. “I’m hoping, should we make it through this, we can share more experiences together.”

Additionally, if someone has gone through a similar situation, it could be quite significant to them, given their strong personalities. When these fiery individuals collide, it can lead to conflict, yet they are equally passionate, which might mean they also deeply understand one another, she suggested.

Emmerdale airs Moira and Ruby’s dangerous ordeal from Monday 9th September on ITV.
