Emmerdale’s Joe Tate Raises Charity Dingle’s Suspicions Over Spiking Incident

I, a viewer, find myself questioning Joe Tate‘s actions once again after the recent episode of Emmerdale, as his behavior seems to be casting a shadow of doubt.

In my recent review, I noted a hazy, past scene starring Joe, which saw him in the company of his half-brother Noah Dingle (played by Jack Downham), at another medical facility last week. It appeared that Noah was undergoing some form of care or treatment.

This discovery occurred several hours later, following an incident where his concerned mother Charity (played by Emma Atkins) stumbled upon him unconscious. Barely managing to prevent running him over with a limousine, she was on the brink of doing so.

Noah found himself grappling with the reality that these events had resulted in three unexpected fatalities. He felt compelled to attend the vigil organized by Charles Anderson (Kevin Mathurin) as a way of expressing his sympathies.

Since grieving Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Plant) accused Noah of doing drugs, even though it was actually a case of him being drugged, Charity advised Noah against going.

But Noah remained confused over what on earth had happened to him.

In the meantime, Charity asked Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) to locate Rich, the man who bought Belle a drink which was mistakenly consumed by Noah, on social media. She suspected that Rich had intended to drug Belle, but unfortunately, it was Noah who suffered the consequences instead.

Rich strongly asserted his innocence, and in the end, Charity and Belle came to trust him. This situation, however, left Charity puzzled about who the true wrongdoer might be.

When Noah showed up at the vigil despite Charity’s warning, she gently guided her son away. However, before they left, Charity noticed Joe was there, which struck her as peculiar because he had no prior acquaintance with Roxy Shahidi, Suzy (Martelle Edinborough), or Amy (Natalie Ann Jamieson).

Now that Charity has zeroed in on Joe as her prime suspect for drugging Noah, and viewers realizing they might be onto something, what was Joe’s actual scheme or strategy?
