Michael Parr hints at continued emotional turbulence for his character Ross Barton with his on-screen brother Lewis (portrayed by Bradley Riches) in the soap opera, Emmerdale.
It came as quite a surprise to Ross when he found out that his deceased mother, Emma (played by Gillian Kearney), had another child – a fourth son – whom she had put up for adoption.
Leveraging the chance presented, Ross decided to invest in Lewis’s venture as he disclosed his marijuana plants cultivation.
In a twist, Lewis managed to flip the script against Ross and his partner, Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb). However, things took an unexpected turn as Lewis pressed for the real facts regarding the killing of Emma.
In simpler terms, Moira Dingle (played by Natalie J Robb) had no choice but to admit she murdered Emma. When Lewis wanted to report this to the police, Ross threatened him with information about his illicit plants.
They are attracted yet repelled, a situation that resembles… At present, it has an aroma reminiscent of both Ross and Finn, yet there are hints of Ross and Pete as well.
You understand, Ross and Pete are like opposite poles of magnets; they attract and repel each other. This is also true for Ross and Lewis – they seem to draw closer, then push apart.” He went on to discuss how the story would further unfold.
However, so far the situation has been pleasant, but there have been some tense moments. It seems this pattern of tranquility followed by turmoil will persist for a short time.
As for the upcoming mayhem the siblings might encounter, Parr expressed his delight in collaborating with fellow actor Riches. In fact, they have been known to enjoy a bit of karaoke during their downtime from shooting scenes together!
Bradley is simply delightful to collaborate with. He’s brimming with energy and enthusiasm that makes both on-screen and off-screen work enjoyable. It’s truly a pleasure to have him around, especially considering I’m approaching 40. Working with someone his age invigorates me, making me feel youthful once more.
Working with Verity Rushworth for the first time brought back memories of my initial job, as there’s something about her that hints at her love for musical theater.
They inspire something in me, and as soon as they shout ‘cut,’ we break into either the role of Joseph or the Phantom from Opera!
