As a long-time follower of Emmerdale, I must admit that my heart skipped a beat when Moira Dingle suffered from a seizure tonight. This isn’t just another storyline; it feels like a personal blow, considering how deeply we’ve all grown to care for these characters over the years.
Tonight’s Emmerdale (August 27, 2024) concluded with a terrifying moment when the character Moira Dingle, portrayed by Natalie J Robb, experienced a seizure.
Lately, the farmer seemed out of sorts, and she’d resorted to drinking again, even though she had previously struggled with alcohol addiction.
Ever since Matty (Ash Palmisciano) endured a terrifying ordeal in prison and took up drinking, she’s become noticeably short-tempered and untrustworthy.
For some time now, Jeff Hordley’s character, Cain, had been troubled by his wife’s behavior, yet he was also beginning to feel frustrated, questioning her true intentions.
Observing the slightly flirtatious exchange between her and Nate (Jurell Carter), he began to suspect that perhaps their relationship had resumed its past romantic nature.
Cain questioned Nate if he had noticed anything about Moira, yet Nate was puzzled – in truth, he too was anxious, for fear she might have observed Moira acting strangely.
Instead of seeking a reason for her behavior while overlooking her obvious illness, Moira made her way to the barn.
It wasn’t long before she suddenly collapsed and had a seizure on the barn floor.
Will she be OK? And what’s wrong with her?
